I think Mike Patton is MOST male singers inspiration! And if he isn't, he should be!

I'll put it on the list! We loved this one, so thanks for the recommendation.

I’m glad that it wasn’t a cover of the schlocky 70s song “Wildfire”. To me, Steely Dan as interpreted by Linkin’ Park, Slayer and Metallica. It feels like a song that you have to learn to love, and once you do, it can’t get out of your head.

Flo, I will make you a promise right here and now: We will not react to Steely Dan on here.
I feel the same way about Steely Dan as The Dude felt about The Eagles.

@@LikeMindedLunatics I get it. We all have that band. I guess we’ll have to agree to disagree - at least on their early stuff. I quote a line from Dirty Work at my job quite a bit these days. “I foresee terrible trouble, yet I stay here just the same.”

If you guys reacted to the music video for their song Ragnarok, I would die of happiness. Ragnarok is their best song in my opinion, and it doesn't get anywhere NEAR the attention it deserves by reactors. It's mindblowing (both the song and how it's practically ignored by everyone).

I added that to our list! Typically we do bounce around with our reactions because of the way we film, but we'll definitely come back around to Periphery, so make sure you've hit the subscribe button to see when we do, and until then, I hope you check out more of our stuff.

I've seen a few of your Jinjer reactions, so I knew you guys would appreciate this too. Periphery is the band that got me into metal. I love the new album, but you have no idea how many other fantastic songs they've made.
Djent isn't a genre, though. In my opinion. It's just a funny word for the particular guitar tone that Periphery and other bands like Meshuggah (who were the inspiration for the guitar solo in this song) and Tesseract use. They are really just under the umbrella of progressive metal, though. Periphery does the very prog thing of using a lot of transitions into completely new sections and a variety of other instruments. If you want to embark on a truly wild musical journey, check out Reptile. And try not to pause so much, or you'll never make it through the song 😄

I'm glad you liked this one. Ricky and I both were blown away!
And thanks for the info on Djent. I'd never heard of it before, but I loved this tune. And we'll check out Reptile as well. Thanks for the recommendation!
We'll probably keep pausing the same way. I can't stop commenting on things I hear/see.
Thanks for checking this one out!

Yeah!! That time of the week again!
Im ready with my beverage, called Windhoek lager, not sure if youve heard of it. Here we go.....
Their guitarring is unusual, heavy with some higher harmonics in there..sounds like a synth in the mix as well and the blast beat ending there. . Very unusual, but with copius amounts of Ruckus! I dig it. Thanks guys , superb as usual! Cheers!!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻

Dude, I love that you write out comments as you watch the video. It's like we're actually hanging out!
And I hadn't heard of Windhoek before. Looks like a Namibian brew? That's really cool. I'll see if I can track it down.
And glad you liked this one! I always like when Ricky picks the tune because he always picks something super interesting.

@@LikeMindedLunatics 🤣 yea its the way i see it too, we're all hanging with you guys in spirit, essentially we're all likeminded lunatics 🤣
Yes its namibian, truth be told it was the first time i tasted it. Usually i go for Amstel , Castle or Corona.
You guys have such a diverse and expansive knowledge of rock and metal your reactions are more than just reacting to the song. I actually end up learning a heck of a lot .
So thanks again, you guys rock
