As one who likes the drawn out progressive Periphey stuff, even I didn’t like this one at first. I thought it was way too long and the middle section was not interesting. But after about 4-5 listens, it’s one of my favorite. Actually that seems to be my entire Periphery experience.

Its one of the simpler songs... and thats a good thing because it really gives me a break from the rest of the prog wizardry on this album. Love the songs vocals too.
On a side note, this song is very fun to play as a musician.

All periphery songs are like that for me. I'm always not sure if I like it at first, and then a few listens later its one of my favorite songs.

Periphery’s trick is keeping enough of the craziness accessible to the layman that they stick around and can try to digest the musicianship. Saw these guys in Atlanta years ago and I was blown away, the fact they keep getting better is even more impressive

For me i didnt click with the vocals at the start, the vocalists tone, idk, but as i got into it more i really started to vibe with it!
