Calls her the wrong name, insinuate she's not intelligent enough to read a book, straight up tells her she looks exhausted, ask her why she is so irritated, tells her sarcastically to go take a nap and drink a redbull, AND continues to trash talk her once she's offline.... so unprofessional. And of course Cara is irritated bc she can sense you're belittling her.
They didn't insinuate at all that she wasn't intelligent enough to read a book. They explicitly said they were wondering if she read the book because she was busy. Their next question too was also about her being busy. It's pretty obvious that they thought she was working a lot. And besides, she DID look exhausted.
@David Mac I don't think she was. Sometimes the British humour can come across like that, it's just her being sarcastic. If they then don't get that and belittle her, after having pronounced her name incorrectly, she's bound to become irritated. I think she handled it well.
David Mac your dumb then. She has been interviewed so many times and then she gets asked dumb questions unrelated to paper towns and I think anyone would be annoyed with these 3 morons on stage.
@@ryansams1268 I imagine it must be horrible to answer questions which also include condescendent comments. Well, but they aren't human, they're just actors, so it's ok to be rude with them, right?😏
If she was confused then she was stupid, there was no mockery. I hate these idiotic entitled celebs who cant answer a few questions without being a cunt. If i was that news anchor i woulda roasted the shit out of her
+Manny Lucero GIRL BYE, these questions/ interviews are identical to the other thousand celebrity interviews done on small news stations. She should have been cordial, dropped the sarcasm when it failed the first time, and been on her way. And someone messing up your name is not something you need to get mad over! It's quite benign actually.
This was by far the most antagonizing and unprofessional interview I have ever witnessed done a show. Cara was not super excited but she was still kept it respectful and answered the questions. I think also, her humor was lost in translation. She has a very sarcastic personality and humor about her that I believe they took the wrong way but this was....I could not believe how unprofessional the hosts were.

thats literally not that bad of a comment?? (thats how people talk to ME, its probably bc im just used to it tho) but yeah her attitude was a bit patronizing. still not as bad as some other things she said
They don't know her but production decided to do a promo for the movie. That's a business arrangement between the network and the studio. So they checked her account, she's very busy and ask: do you get a chance to read? I think it was also the way she greeted them. VERY low energy and not bothered, making it look as if she is doing them a favour for appearing. It's not as if they like to be all preppy and cheery in the morning but, they keep it pumping. When Cara got snappy, they purposely asked her confusing questions to throw her off guard. They are pros they know how to ask questions. But they were not going to put up with a little brat promoting a mediocre movie on THEIR show.. If she had been more engaging, they would've make her look good. She could've joked in a self deprecating manner. It would still be witty and dry but in a good way.She needed them more than they needed her and she blew it. I guess she's very reactive(just like me) when she's not completely 'there' and goes into defence. Because of her fame; she can afford to. In everyday life it can cost you everything.
@@GullibleTarget I understand your take on it but what are the interviewers win in the long run? Theoretically, if this was their tactic, some will join them but the mass... I don't think so. But yeah I understand this might be the case here, but I would then question their logic. I don't think she have the pressure to give an over optimistic interview for the movie, but the interviewers need to seduce the masses. I agree with you that if you act like this in certain situations it might cost you your career. Cost you everything... Sure, but that might be of a too broad speculation. Like this, it depends completely on the situation
Ok but as soon as they started Cara seemed rude and like Cara also interupted her at the beginning and just seemed really pissed off but I agree that as soon as Cara said she was probably just tired the interviewers should have just went on with the interview instead of picking on her it's so rude
Lilianna Passut Hmm actually Cara wasn’t purposely interrupting them. There was very likely a delay between the interviewers speaking and Cara receiving the audio. Seems like she was just trying to have a conversation, but the lag caused overlap
I love how REAL she is and does not try to be someone she is not. The reporters all seem to be missing some brain cells and don't understand dry sarcastic humor. She deserves an apology.
@@sebastiano7734 No, we need celebrities like Cara so people like you won't go around expecting every female to be bubbly and upbeat all the time. Kurly Kayla Did I say we don't need her or something? As an actress I think she does a good job, and my comment has nothing to do with gender, she can have whatever personality she wants, I just said that I have seen another interview where she is very rude to an interviewer and that maybe it was Karma that they will treat her like this, Don't try to show that it's a gender issue because it's not, my comment would have been the same if it had been Brad Pitt or Will Smith.

People just need to do better.
The second Cara opened with her disinterested aura; they decided to rip her to shreds. They purposely needled her and improvised on the questions to make her look stupid. She failed to see how she was the one setting the tone and did not try to turn it around. She was unaware.
okay seriously? I don't think those comments afterwards were necessary. Just because she wasn't super peppy and energetic does not mean she wasn't excited about it. She's a real person and she's allowed to have a bad day sometimes. And with how they were acting I really don't blame her for seeming annoyed.

As a professional she should have carried herself better though I understand some people might want to defend her but she came in kind of Moody you can see it they were just trying to lighten the mood with jokes. Cara
That passive aggressive female host seemed like she was trying to get a rise out of Cara the whole time. And Cara was handling it well imo. She was a bit visibly irritated, but with good reason.
+Rabbi Robbie Rotten no she wasn't, she acted like a human being, that is her humour and that's what British humour is, it's dry, it's not over the top , she shouldn't have to pretend to be all excited and happy and be all fake after a long night just because people like you want to see that, she's a real person, she cant be happy all the time

+Rabbi Robbie Rotten have you really though? When American actors come here for interviews we dont get mad because they're ridiculously over excited and fake, but if brits are Brits and act regular over where you are you get all mad
Austin Thomas Films - She was definitely not joking. She was being deliberately rude. She got in a snit because the lady called her "Carla" at the beginning, and rather than correcting her or ignoring it, she chose to act like a brat for the rest of the interview. The interviewers could have handled it more professionally, but I'm kind of glad they didn't. She deserved to be called out.
MrBook - At 0:26 she's being sarcastic ("I never read the book or the script actually, I kinda winged it") and it's so obviously a joke, and the interviewers even laugh. Later she makes the same kind of sarcastic joke about her character ("No I actually hate her") and then goes on to answer the question normally. She's joking by being sarcastic and the interviewers took it the wrong way because they thought she was being rude, but she's obviously trying to be dryly funny. At 2:30 she even has this really confused look when they call her irritated. There's nothing "deliberately rude" about her. She's just dry. Having her name pronounced with one letter off is such a ridiculous reason to be upset.
She did insult them. We don't know what happened before the camera started rolling. Normally they have a chat off camera during commercial breaks. Cara was probably not that engaging and they were like...ok, kid let's show you how it works in TV-land...
roddo that makes them unprofessional assholes. The black guy treated her with twice the respect and understood she was being jokingly sarcastic which he says at the end.
@@eshryo the other guy was gish-galloping Cara on purpose. It looks unprofessional but journalists do this when people come on their show to promote their movie/brand/music and start acting up. @@amy1210marie She literally wasn't acting badly at all at the start, even though they got her name wrong. She made a joke which flew right over their head, and they proceeded to essentially tell her she looked tired and make fun of her. It's not her fault if they are unable to get basic sarcasm.
lava sinclaire it’s 8:49, poor Cara was probably made to get up at 5am and she was amazing to come and talk to them. She has a British sense of humour and when they joked with her she joked back and they got offended. Stupid fucking drip get your facts right
She was rude and bitchy from the moment they started the interview. And then she hung up on them. She was obviously pissed, not just being funny. This is part of her job and she was horribly unprofessional
the fact they do this as a JOB? 1. They didn’t know her name, 2. They insinuated she didn’t care enough about her work to read the book of the movie she was starring in, 3. They worded the questions badly, 4. Someone just chimed in and completely dissed her, arrogantly ignoring all the reasons I previously listed for her being irritated, to blame her for being exhausted and disinterested, 5. They TRASHED her as soon as she left… I mean the definition of unprofessional and arrogant
the guy on the right said that, I think he was the only one who was saying that she was being sarcastic to be funny and I feel like he was saying that to get rid of the awkwardness
+jas fay also during the time of this interveiw she was getting ready for her role as enchantress and she had to get in the dark and lonely kind of vibe
It's baffling how they expected CARA to be excited to answer their CONDESCENDING questions. She actually handled it quite well with her British sense of humour and sarcasm. Being asked if she read the book (which is integral to playing the role) was just petty. And for them to talk at the end and bash her that way. How are these people on tv as interviewers?
Ew, are you dumb? What part of asking her about the project was condescending? Please, this bitter bitch didnt even look at the camera when they introduced her. SHE'S the entertainer, its her job to be applealing. shout out to the reporters for letting her know she just wasted their time
Insinuating that she didn't read it. Even if that wasn't what they were doing it's a fucking stupid question. That reporter was being a bitch. They're the newscasters, it's their job to be professional not to insult her. I would have been rude too. What's with this cara hate? Do you have a grudge against her?
lava sinclaire she didn‘t look at them directly because the transmission was delayed. She looked at them as soon as she saw them. And yes Cara is the entertainer but these guys are interviewers and they called by a wrong name in the beginning so don‘t tell me that she‘s the one who‘s bad at her job
That woman in the middle was so unprofessional, even if Cara was "rude" or in a "mood" it's your job to make it more fun, that's why you get paid for. What a terrible interview, they all are terrible. Obviously Cara was tired but this was very awkward and rude of them (blue blazer), specially the woman. I agree she was trying to be funny.
I don't care how tired or cranky she is....she get's paid $5 mil for six weeks worth of work. She is promoting her movie she needs to show some enthusiasm. I am glad she was insulted.
I'm sorry but if I was in Cara's position, I would not have responded to them with that much rudeness. The interview takes two to tango and she was rude from the start, just because her name was pronounced wrong once!? Give people a break.
People may not notice but right after the reporter calls her by the wrong name, Cara asks how they are and they DON'T reciprocate asking her how she is. First two things within a matter of seconds really set the mood for the rest of the interview as well
If they were to ask her “how she’s doing” after she says “how you doing” - it’s not the format for segment tv interview. They said “good morning. Nice to have you here. we’re doing great. So the movie is based on etc etc” and she WANTED to be annoyed so she made not being asked back a thing. Really the tone started with the incorrect name and her response to it from there. Both side issue.
She was being sarcastic which is probably her personality. Her sense of humour went right over her head and they got butthurt that she wasn't being all preppy wtf.
AisteNotSorry AisteNotSorry Are you kidding me lmao Their questions were pretty basic & dumb. Implied she doesn't read / couldn't have possibly read it. Implied she can't focus. Implied that she got famous from Bad Blood. Told her to take a nap. Like what? Those jokes were jabs at her.
We don't know what happened before- during the commercial break. They were not behaving like that for no reason. Cara was ready to attack and so were they.
@Tree Beast It's breakfast television dude. It's supposed to be fluff, they're not supposed to ask hard hitting questions. No one wants to watch that in the morning, and that's how BREAKFAST TELEVISION has been defined since it's inception. Of all people, Cara as a fucking actress (I use that word very lightly) should know what to expect. And did we watch the same video? They gave 3 perfectly normal, non-threatening questions to her before the anchor on the left called her out. And to each of those 3 questions, she gave a monotone, rude, sarcastic response. What it looks like in this TH-cam comments section judging by profile pictures and a quick scanning of their profiles, a majority of the people defending Cara here are her fans. So they're obviously biased and blind to see how she could be in the wrong.

What? They didn't even ask anything related to the movie, they just kept asking about if she was tired or moody and honestly, first rule of dealing with someone if they _were_ moody (not saying she was) is to _not_ point that out and talk about something else. Also, mocking someone behind their backs or if they can't reply anymore is bad form.
The rudest interviewers I have ever watched. I am not a big fan of cara but they had no right to be rude to her especially since she seemed nervous or tired.
the black guy interviewer was the only one that got it...the other two are so disrespectful...cara played along well until they just insulted her straight up.
Yeah but it kinda seems like before they even greeted her she seemed irritated. Rewind it and look at caras face before anyone even begins speaking to her at the very beginning.and if she was upset because her name was pronounced incorrectly, she could’ve corrected the interviewer. I know there are times people pronounce my name wrong. Idc I correct them.
@@J-G2023 she's got a rbf, it's not that she was moody. literally, just look at her in photographs. like most models, she has what's called a 'resting bitch face', that's all. it doesn't make anyone rude or aggravated, people have a variety of different resting faces. while some people smile naturally, others don't.
Let's break this interview down and better understand what's going on here: - The woman introduced her as "Carla". That was the initial reason which made Cara upset. They could still recover from that with interesting questions, of course. - Then the woman asked her, with a sarcastic laugh, if she had even read the book. That's not something you ask to an actress. Cara probably thought the woman was implying she wasn't intelligent enough to read books. - Next question, "do you find that it's easy for you to focus because you're so busy?". What kind of a stupid question is that? In any case, she responded normally, and for some reason the man echoed her reply in a sarcastic way: "Not too hard? Awright...". - Then, "What do you like about Margot, specifically, do you have anything in common with her?" Cara was already under the impression that the female interviewer though she was dumb, so this question probably sounded to her like: "You're a dumb bitch, how can that cute intelligent girl in the movie be portrayed by you?" - Finally, the nail in the coffin, a sarcastic and negative comment about the movie, basically saying the movie is stupid because it shows a fake, rhetorical and educolarated portrayal of teenagers. The interviewer didn't even let her reply and defend the movie. He immediately expressed another negative comment, this time directly about her, saying that she didn't seem very excited about the movie. What a fucking unprofessional and stupid interview is that? I don't know how these guys got their job as "journalists". It seems to me that the woman in the middle was already jealous of Cara since the beginning, probably because of her age, beauty and successful career. That's the reason of her sarcastic laughter in the first question, and the general arrogant attitude towards Cara. Also at the end, saying "take a nap". My god, what an aweful thing to say to a person for no reason whatsoever, belittling the interviewee like she is some kind of little child. The way Cara handled all of this was amazing though, giving them what they deserved, sarcasm, without losing her shit and starting insulting them (which is probably what I would have done). Also her death stare was awesome. Burn them all, Enchantress.
The people going after Cara here are casually ignoring that when the first guy praises the movie and halfway/almost politely asks if she was more excited before, she smiles, gives a little laugh, and clearly tries to defuse the situation by answering that she's tired, it's early, but she's still very excited. They absolutely could have turned things around, as she just gave all of them an out to start fresh, but that woman jumps in to tell her that she seems annoyed, instead of moving on. That chick didn't want an interview, at that point she was clearly done and actually confronted the actress on AIR, totally unnecessarily. There is nothing defensible about behaving that way in a professional setting. I don't really know anything about this actress, but that woman is an abrasive idiot and has no business in a job like this if she can't conduct herself better than that.
@@jacejohnson7113"Jace" is a lot less common than "Cara" and people doing interviews need to know how to pronounce the names of their guests when it's a simple one like that. The guy on the left totally instigated drama at 2:00 for no reason. That was so unprofessional and immature of him. Cara could’ve been more talkative but they didn’t have to bring their personal feelings into the interview. They had nothing interesting to say, either.
I think the host ticked the girl off not because of mispronouncing her name but because they kept framing their initial questions with how busy the girl was to do things like "read the novel the movie was based on" ... that could be taken as a suggestion that the girl is too young to be professionally responsible as an actress to research on the literary source of the character she's playing ... its obvious the girl has a high sense of pride about her work so her reply may come back to the hosts as more serious sounding and less joking than what the hosts are ready for ... they were ready for some bantering, the girl was more in the mode of having a more formal type of exhange ...
One year later and I'm still mad about this, especially knowing how that lady in the middle basically bragged about her unprofessionalism after the fact. These anchors are an embarrassment to their network and should have been fired.
This is precisely why everyone in the world thinks Americans are irritating. Look at them all whining and trash talking her at the end. Americans just feel so entitled and righteous all the time. So what if Cara didn't smile?

Just because the Americans you've met have been assholes doesn't mean you have to be an ass to us. This was between Cara and the interviewers not between two countries🙄
Americans expect everyone to be so happy-go-lucky and energetic all the time. There is a thing called “chilling”. These interviewers wouldn’t survive in Britain

Unpopular opinion and I’m totally okay with that, but I guess I’m the odd one out but when i watched this, it did look to me that she had the attitude. Her sarcasm falls flat mainly because every answer starts with it and it can be considered rude. Also she answered sarcastically they way you would with friends, not strangers. I guess delivery is what is lacking. I thought they were pretty jolly in the start and later on they realised they couldn’t keep being jolly if she wasn’t biting. It then turned into a confrontation because they got fed up.
These three anchors are so unprofessional and I'm sorry to say , ignorant bullies. Cara has a British sense of humour and there was absolutely nothing wrong with her interview.

I agree, Cara was a bit tired, but she was never rude to them. And the questions they asked like: "Did you read the book?" are just stupid. Plus they just starting talking about her when she went offline. The panel was insanely rude, they were treating her like a little kid and saying "go get a nap" I actually respect Cara for ending the interview and not just start insulting them.
Heather Dee yeah, i knew that. I was agreeing with you. I think you misunderstood what i wrote. The only thing different that I said was that she was a bit tired, but thats normal, everyone gets tired in the morning (specially if you had a premiere the night before). But I agree that they were rude and unprepared
I cannot believe the anchors asked her such dumb questions and took jabs at her yet they turned it around on her saying she had a bad attitude. Maybe y’all didn’t understand her sense of humor which is sarcasm. It means: don't come promoting your shit on our time with that attitude, young lady. We're interviewers; we can really make you look like an idiot. Be gracious.
@IWatchWeirdVideos it is petty! But they have the 'power' to be petty. She is the one who needs to sell the movie on their time. They have their morning show; she featured in her first movie. Have you ever seen Meryl Streep being so stroppy when promoting? Don't get me wrong; I felt bad for Cara! I recognize the defense mechanism, she has a mental disorder and I get that. most likely, she was tired, super nervous and insecure. But nobody can look in ones' head. Another case of Americans not understanding the British humour.. I used to not like Cara but as I've seen more interviews and understood her sense of humour a bit better, I've found she's actually funny af
I doubt it was just that lady, in fact all 3 hosts seemed to agree on their interpretation, but either way I'm sure the people behind the camera had a lot more to do with the abrupt end than the lady. So there, that's a whole bunch of americans with one opinion of her. On the other hand, I'm not gunna say all americans are dumb/the same or anything like that, but the way tv interviews are conducted are certainly very *different*.
Justin MZ Nah that was British humour, she just didn't laugh or show as much emotion which made it sound like she's rude. Humour is very different between these two nations.
Calm down, the only explanation to this is that they were asking questions so like "excited" with almost not respect and she were responding quietly and intelligent so they got like triggered because she was not answering what they wanted or, because she made them seem like little kids asking dumb questions...

She wasnt even fully sarcastic tho she took into account they were American and could not understand this type of humor so she explained it was a joke and still they felt offended. Goddamn
The interviewers are who's being rude, not Cara. Their questions are asked in a weird way & they ask multiple questions at a time. They treat her like she's stupid & expect her to not be offended. It doesn't help that there's a short time delay.
This^ Thank you! They were awful. I would have hung up long before she did.

*gets mad that she’s upset.*

May Truax 😂😂

She's joking by being sarcastic and the interviewers took it the wrong way because they thought she was being rude, but she's obviously trying to be dryly funny. Lol the black guy knew his co workers were being rude.

How?
Let's break this interview down and better understand what's going on here:
- The woman introduced her as "Carla".
- Then, "What do you like about Margot, specifically, do you have anything in common with her?"
Cara was already under the impression that the female interviewer though she was dumb, so this question probably sounded to her like: "You're a dumb bitch, how can that cute intelligent girl in the movie be portrayed by you?"
- Finally, the nail in the coffin, a sarcastic and negative comment about the movie, basically saying the movie is stupid because it shows a fake, rhetorical and educolarated portrayal of teenagers.
Also her death stare was awesome.

they’re literally bullying her wtf. they’re like everyone’s gonna recognize her from the music video
"You do seem irritated. Maybe it's just us."
"Yeah, I think it's just you."
Yes, it was. I like her bluntness.

@@user-ir8mf7km6w It was intolerable to watch. Their entire tone was condescending while being bubbly airheads. What does being a scientist, teacher or doctor have to do with having etiquette for someone that you're interviewing. It's rude not only to her, but to us who had to witness it.
She was just chill and being herself? just cause she's not smiling like an idiot 24/7 doesn't mean she's not in a mood. Those hosts were rude and unwelcoming to her from the start
She seemed a little tired but that is not someything you mention.
She probably reacted in that way because of the ridiculous questions and comments they made. That's sure to irritate anyone! She probably was just desperate to get out of there
They also introduced her as "Carla"
I agree, it was completely unprofessional and the "interview" was pure bs.
They treated her like a little kid
All I can say is well done Cara for not rising to it. If I was in that situation with such rude interviewers I don't think I could have stayed so calm. Go Cara!!!!!! :):)
And they went on and on criticizing her on air,how do these guys still have their jobs
Bruh she’s an actress. You’re acting like she’s a holocaust survivor or a respected scientist.
@@Kerm88 bruh so just because she is an actress that means you can make fun of her? Tf do you mean

“Perhaps, it’s just us.” Nailed it!
Did these hosts get fired? I hope so... Cara handled herself well.
The guy in the blue had 2 DUIs and then was let go. The woman in the middle retired (thank god..I worked there...she was horrible) and the guy in the right is actually really nice and was trying to steer the ship the right way. He works/lives in LA. He didn't like the woman in the middle so they tended not to be at the same set most of the time.

Martin Chabre Mary Ann Mcclary
@@heelsoregon Thanks for the inside info! Such a relief to hear those two rude, sexist people are no longer inflicting their entitled disrespectful attitudes upon interview subjects :)
No. In CBS, you get promoted for being a complete embarrassment
horrible interviewers. from the beginning .especially the woman. so unprofessional. can we say GASLIGHTING. who are these people.
Thank you. That was the word I was trying to think of. Gaslighting.
You two should probably look up the definition of gaslighting first before you go around using it.
hadnt slept They used it correctly.
@@Kerm88 i think you should, they tried to pin the blame for the interview on her. classic gaslighting
They're good day sacramento, now you're as bad as them.

probably. but damn what the hell is their problem
Chelsea Simone ASMR, proof?
phht. “Clearly” 😄
Chelsea Simone ASMR I was gonna Say that
Plus she is also very beautiful. That is why that old bitch is bitter.

Why these interviewers playing the victim. The lady insulted her by asking if she even reads
Okay first of all, those interviewers are terrible at asking appropriate questions. Secondly, she is British and they are notorious for being more calm and collected and not overly emotional compared to Americans. Those anchors were jerks and didn’t care about her!
Oh boo hoo. She gets paid to pretend to be some one else. We should feel sorry for her?
@@Novasterling what?
@@xnAqua she's an actress who makes lots of $$$. Can't say my heart bleeds

@@xnAqua the point is she comes on the show like she doesn't want to be there and acts like she won't even ask the questions sincerely. She's an actress who gets paid lots of money to pretend to be someone else. And yet somehow she's the victim?
I will admit that I don't really like the movie but I love cara and the interviewers where so disrespectful and rude, if I was cara I'd probably be so so pissed off.. She handled it great on my opinion
sorry lol
Did... did they call her "Carla" Delevingne
not a professional interviewer doing for sure
@Elham A that's not her name you incompetent buffoon
It's the fact that the interviewer said "you seem a bit irritated" which is SO unprofessional, and then when Cara understandably was confused and stood up for herself they followed up by basically telling her to go take a little nappy and drink something and maybe she'll feel better. Like wtf
This was so unprofessional.
I don't think she was being rude they put her in a bad position
The guy on the left totally instigated drama at 2:00 for no reason. That was so unprofessional and immature of him. Cara could’ve been more talkative but they didn’t have to bring their personal feelings into the interview. They had nothing interesting to say, either.
The insecurity of those presenters was at maximum strength. Have they never met an English person before?
seriously? you call her the wrong name twice.... then get upset when she reacts badly? and then you shit-talk her afterwards? pure unprofessionalism.
It's probably one of those shock-jock radio shows. They don't care. The ruder, the better; higher ratings.
the women in the middle seems well rested.i suppose those three chins offer great support
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
this expressed every emotion i had towards her 😂
I really hope she sees your comment!! 😆
eternal sharingan omg shadiness
The woman is a bitch, but she doesn't have a visible double chin
She seemed pretty chill to me.
They could have just let her talk more instead of having so many dumb assumptions, questions, and being so fake.
This is precisely why everyone in the world thinks Americans are irritating. Look at them all whining and trash talking her at the end. Americans just feel so entitled and righteous all the time. So what if Cara didn't smile?
The model turned actress comes across as a dismissive pain in the @ss. They/re over celebs like that. #sorrynotsorry
Why’re you generalizing an entire country off of two interviewers though?
Yep that it👍 you hit the nail on the head😂😒
Most americans I've talked to think that America is the best and nothing else matters.. that's probably why they act like that too. ''Stupid foreigner'' (actually a quote about me an american said)
Rosa Kytölä , stop putting us all into one group I don't think foreigners are stupid. I'm actually an AMERICAN activist fighting so that more immigrants can come in from the Middle East.
They clearly don’t understand sarcasm. “No i didn’t read the book, i kinda just winged it.” How did that sound insincere in any wag.
yes these interviewers represent every and all americans
Esther blame everything on Americans then. Wow.
You guys wouldn’t survive here either. Be disrespectful and get ya ass beat. Famous people in general, are cunt bags. Most of them.
bird lover i dont know if thats entirely true - i imagine that the same percentage of famous people are good and bad as regular people (perhaps slightly more dicks in the famous community than otherwise, but probably not by much)
Clearly you've never been to America. We invited the term "chill out". Get a passport before you claim to know anything about America.
I can’t believe these interviewers were so unprofessional they are literally acting like teenagers in school when they started bad mouthing Cara at the end 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️smh
Im just here to ensure they were fired... now the question is... were they fired?
As they uploaded the video shamelessly, probably not :p
I seriously hope so
nope
Why does someone deserve to lose their livelihood just because they misinterpreted sarcasm?
These three anchors are so unprofessional and I'm sorry to say , ignorant bullies. Cara has a British sense of humour and there was absolutely nothing wrong with her interview.
simplyvirtuoso you are right. They being BULLY. The three together joined to attack and made fun of her. Disgusting.
Only two were unprofessional. Not the BLK One.
the thing is people expect women to smile and the crazy pleasent all the time, she was being respecful until they said she looked "irritaded". They were so childish, sexist and unprofessional
Sexist?
you're an idiot if you thought that was in any way 'sexist'.
I get told I look tired and irritated all the time
Has nothing to do with her being a woman, they just because they wanted her to be enthused or something
She could've been respectful to them by not looking like a stone.
8 years later this will go down as the most watched video CBS Sacramento has ever posted.
she clearly does not want to be there.
its funny, cause shes not actually there
DeathCreationist mate, I wasn't being a smart ass, I just made a comment in jest. I had even liked your comment for christ sake.
George Waweru i was pissed at something else when I wrote that :') so I put proper anger into that lol. but it did seem as if you were mocking, oh well. appy polly loggies sir.
DeathCreationist All is well, mate. Just a misunderstanding.
Why? She is just having a normal conversation... the anchors got offended over sarcasm and then they talked shit straight to her face...
These people are horrible and bad interview question. I'm sorry but they where so rude and they did not even say her name right, check yourself. I love Car-a, shes amazing! Thumbs down for the interview people and Thumbs up for Car-a!
+Da Best no I'm talking about the reports thy were rude and had dumb questions for her unprepared
+Da Best okay yeah misunderstanding. Team CAR-A

The whole interview was completely unprofessional! If I were those presenters boss, I would fire them in the spot
Bunker Boy might’ve been a typo since I and O are close together on the keyboard, also not everyone is a native English speaker
I cannot believe the anchors asked her such dumb questions and took jabs at her yet they turned it around on her saying she had a bad attitude. Maybe y’all didn’t understand her sense of humor which is sarcasm. The lady who said a nap and a Red Bull and then proceeded to tell her she is irritated when she told her she was not was definitely out of order. I would have cussed her out live on air!
Cara's sarcasm is too much "have you read the book" , "no I haven't I didn't even read the script I winged it"...
Best answer ever!!! I am cracking up right now. 😂😂😂
The Life of Ebun I actually don’t think it is!
The Life of Ebun well obviously she read thebook
+Nicole nahhh she definitely winged it she even said so herself so it must be true
The Life of Ebun
lmao ikrr
"You looked more excited in the other interview" is like saying "my toy doesn't look like it did in the ad"
We behave in certain ways and simply put; act like a twat; get treated like twat.
@@GullibleTarget the only person who looked like idiots at the end of this was the interviewers. She left after they were incredibly rude, and they continued to insult her. Whos the bigger person in that situation? A bunch of adults insulting someone live on air after she left the situation - or the person who realised the interview wasn't in their best favourite and simply left graciously? No doubt Cara was much more professional than these three. And this is far from her "first movie" she's had countless appearances, is a highly successful model and actress. She doesn't *need* these clowns to promote the movie. They even expressed their insecurity at her success by pointing out "she gets paid 5 million dollars for six weeks work and can't even handle an interview" is oozing with jealousy and insecurity and bitterness.
Barely any correlation there but ok
How she reacted to these losers was perfect, so glad she just shrugged it off, how could anyone hate her! shes my role model
Shes a crack head now
No she is a idiot
She handled it very professionally. Despite their disrespect, she remained calm and just responded that it's the morning. I have loads of respect for Cara, especially in moments like these.
These hosts are so rude! And clearly don’t understand British humor. Continuing to insult her after she has left is awful, they should be ashamed.
My gosh, I can't help but laugh at how bad these hosts were! I mean the guy on the right seemed like he was almost getting Cara's humor/etiquette, but the rest of them were like children!
Everything was fine until the guy in the blue suit started talking lol what the heck
Kayla A yep. can't stand him
Naw it was the lady to but they were both horrible
Actually it was already horrible but when that douchebag came on he pretty much backed up what the other bullies said and added more fuel to the fire turning it into a trainwreck. I hope they all (if they haven't already) get fired.
they asked such weird questions and they all have stuck up attitudes.
manhal tellow
exactly.
Seems like a 2+ second signal delay may have exacerbated the situation.
That was the most unprofessional interview I’ve ever seen. This person was a GUEST on your show and you talked down to her like a child. What a joke of a program - and bottom of the barrel hosts.
She is a child
Another case of Americans not understanding the British humour.. I used to not like Cara but as I've seen more interviews and understood her sense of humour a bit better, I've found she's actually funny af
Guarantee you've never even been to Britain
well opinion mucho?
I doubt it was just that lady, in fact all 3 hosts seemed to agree on their interpretation, but either way I'm sure the people behind the camera had a lot more to do with the abrupt end than the lady. So there, that's a whole bunch of americans with one opinion of her. On the other hand, I'm not gunna say all americans are dumb/the same or anything like that, but the way tv interviews are conducted are certainly very *different*.
Justin MZ Nah that was British humour, she just didn't laugh or show as much emotion which made it sound like she's rude. Humour is very different between these two nations.
Sacramento is in Canada... Americans whether they be from Canada or the U.S. do understand sarcasm.
This is unbelievable. These are the worst interviewers. The lady anchor needs to be fired. End of story.
Calm down, the only explanation to this is that they were asking questions so like "excited" with almost not respect and she were responding quietly and intelligent so they got like triggered because she was not answering what they wanted or, because she made them seem like little kids asking dumb questions...
The girl actually got it right
they were fake, why must she be excited when she is not
Actually they are acting like little dumb kids
These reporters' behavior was embarrassing!
wow...she was rude but for theses three to talk about her while she was off air was disgustingly immature and unprofessional
*these
She wasn't rude, she was being sarcastic.
Have you heard of sarcasm before?
How was it nasty exactly?
Justin MZ
How was it nasty sarcasm? It's just sarcasm...no more nasty than other sarcasm
You can hear her say "too far" when the woman says take a nap
They wouldn't ask those questions if it were Mariah Carey. These interviewers need to get fired.
Well, Carla isn't Mariah.
Mariah would shade the crap out of them
Cara was fine, not irritated. It's clear shes tired, shes a busy girl. You can just see her face drop when they call her "irritated". Lol at the comments section. People butt hurt how a rich, stuck-up celeb on TV was spoken to. How can you all possibly carry-on in this world now? Poor little Cara. Maybe you are all just irritated, maybe grab a red bull, how about that?
Wtf everything was fine until the guy made a comment about her enthusiasm, which she handled quite nicely, and then the woman went on about her seeming irritated?? They basically just fucking attacked her out of no where.
they just had to talk behind her back on live television for another 2 minutes after the interview? so unprofessional and embarrassing on their behalf.
She asked for it, though, because she responded like she didn't want to be there or just plain snooty.
