I was trying to use one of these inverter motor speed controllers to run a flat pancake motor mounted on the back of the drum on a Maytag (similar to Samsung) washing machine but without success. The controller doesn't seem to provide enough starting current to make the motor run so all it does is vibrate back and forth a bit but doesn't turn. An externally mounted square motor that runs the drum with a belt runs OK using the controller however.
Will a 5.5kW inverter drive 7.5HP motor off single phase 230V ? I found some information indicating that I have to buy an inverter that is double the rates power of the motor when input is a single phase. Is that true with your inverters?
@@huanyanginverter6516 yes, that is my concern- can rectifier in the inverter handle the higher current from single phase ? If it was connected to 3 phase power then each phase would carry about 8A @230V driving 5.5kW load. But with single phase each input line will carry about 12A. Can the 5.5kW inverter handle that?
I would prefer to have the video without the music. I clicked on this video to learn about the VFD not listen to music. If I wanted music, I would go somewhere else.
