And proof of how great the Bee Gees are. Even if you didn't like this song and it seems many don't, it shows that the ultimate 70's band can adapt and do a song that is ultimate 80's.
This song fits in with Frank Stallone's Far From Over. 80's dance energy. From the same movie. Travolta never forgot the Bee Gees helped him out with his career in 1978 so he called upon them when others were avoiding them in the early 80's.

He still manages, though, to muster the strength to follow the pretty girl that walks by. Robin gives the stinkeye to the Asian girl because she can rock that hat better than he can, slams down plates hard enough to make the wilted lettuce bounce, gets a reprimand from his boss, who's witnessed him being rude to customers one freakin' time too many, and he doesn't even take the time to properly set down the tray of the Pepsi he's spit in to take off when a pretty girl walks by. Maurice begrudgingly picks up passengers and grimaces at them as they reminisce about their horrifying experience on the Titanic and her recent diagnosis of brain cancer. He then promptly abandons taxi mid-roll, putting his elderly passengers' lives (what there is left, what with the brain cancer and all) and other people's hard-earned Subarus and Mazdas at risk, and takes off as a pretty girl walks by. Lesson learned: One can be a rotten employee when one is a Bee Gee and still make a darn fine living. Life is good when you're a Bee Gee. :-)
But in the context of your funny story, none of the brothers Gibb is a Bee Gee; each is an unremarkable working-class plebeian who can't supress his primal instinct to follow a pretty girl, no matter the cost.
First time to hear this in almost 40 years. Fun how laughably awful some of these comeback attempts can be. Love that pumpin' hot riff for manly men. Like Robin Gibb!
