I’m 65 now, in 1976 I was 16 and I just started dating a girl she was 15,this was our music at the skating rink, ,we got married in 1979 and we are still so happily married with children and grandchildren and great grandchildren ❤️
I grew up in the sixties and seventies. At the end of the seventies i was riding my car, this kind of music on the cassette. No care in the world. The best times.
I'm 62...You just brought me back to so many memories with these great songs...I remember all of them because we were all glued to our radios...then we would here them when we went out...How I wish I could go back...
I was a sophomore in High School 🏫 in 1976!!! Played TRUMPET🎺 , in my High School BAND!!! 33 & 45 RPM Records & Cassette Tapes!!! These songs🎶, brings back memories!!! What a time to be alive where real bands played real instruments!!! 70s MUSIC🎶 for me is the BEST!!! ALL GENRES (ROCK, SOUL, COUNTRY, etc.)!!! What a time to be alive🙌🏽💪🏽😎!!! Thanks for the Memories 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽!!!🔥💯🔥💯
How lucky was i being a teenager in the 70's. Was 15 when these hots were in the charts, music was music 🎶 we did not realise how good we had it along with TV, 😊 Thanks for 76 hits from '76 SRG 😊🎉
I was just 11 and was about the time that I started really listening to radio (..and Casey Kasem), so I remember all of these hits. What a great era for music. Rock and Roll, pop, disco, and a little bit of funk, soul, and country in the mix, too!
I'm at the car wash, seeing a dancing queen, it's more than a blessing and oh oh oh mamma mia here we go again with the awesome 76 playlist my my how can I resist it.
I was 10 years old in 76, beautiful memories of my childhood. Moonlight feels right for some reason reminds me of my grandmother who passed away when I was 10 💔
This brings back so many great memories. I was 15 in 1976. I remember most of these songs. My favorite bands were Boston, ELO, Fleetwood Mac and Peter Frampton. However, whenever I hear Blue Oyster Cult's "Dont Fear The Reaper," I'm that teenage girl once again. What a beautiful time it was to be young!
My nephews tell me how lucky I was to grow up with such great music. Yep, there was some great songs but for every good one there were tons of scrap as this video demonstrates. We just don't here them anymore .
The 70s had so many hits that are still being played on the radio. The 70s are my fourth favorite decade for music with the 2000s being third, the 90s being second, and the 80s being first simply because it introduced everyone to reggae, disco, beach rock, etc.
I was in Europe for the summer of 1977 , we recorded several weeks of our local Detroit radio station on a cassette tape to take so I can hear my favorite music, i remember so many of the songs on this video from that trip
I was in my teens during the 70's, I once owned many of these songs on "45" record or 8-track tape, or "33" vinyl. Kids these days would never have even heard of those formats before, back then that's what we had..........and the almighty radio. These songs bring back so many memories from that time period, I would lay on my bed listening to music for hours at night...........I wish I could go back to those days and do it all over again!
I was 11. I remember almost all these songs. I also remember laying in the orange shag carpet under the long stereos we had back then, listening to the music. The sound was great under there, lol
I was 4 years old in 1976, I remember some of these coming over the AM radio in my parents Austin Maxi. The four kids in the back with no seatbelts. Going on summer holiday was always a highlight as the back seats were down and we used to be slotted in between all the boxes and bags of supplies. Imagine doing that today!
Love this. Thank you. If you can, Please play all the records through and let's have a party! Kids and teenagers of the 70s wayhay - we had loads more freedom then.
I knew almost every song in this list. I was still in my radio listening days. Not sure how much after this I was still doing so. [The music that turned me off was too much weird stuff without a lick of harmony.] this year shown here was still very singable. Thank you.
I was 17 in 1976. It would be nice to go back and redo it, knowing what I know now. Good chance it would be like the Butterfly Effect movie, lots of unintended consequences.
I was 17. It was the next year when I switched from 8 tracks to cassette tapes for my car. Amazing that vinyl albums have made a comeback, and I am discovering music on TH-cam that I did not hear in the 1970s. Check out Dr. Feelgood and Wishbone Ash, they have some very good songs. Also Colter Wall and Billy Strings for new music.
Mi canción favorita de toda la vida "Fanny be tender with my love" de los Bee Gees, la cual es de 1975. Las demás buenisimas canciones de los hermanos que están en el listado, sí son del 76, y son del álbum "Children of the world"🎉
1976 never will make this music yourney again, unbelivaible those were the days my friends you'll never heare these greats songs again, nobody can wright theme simple as that.
UNBELIEVABLE that so many great unforgettable songs all came out in ONE YEAR. This music is just in another whole universe compared to just about any recent single year of music over the last DECADE.
Another tough year for music... Afternoon Delight is pretty funny when you know what it is about and OMG I love Rose Royce singing Car Wash (movie was awesome as well). This must have been a big year for smoking weed? Thank you sir for all of your work. Even if I don't care for the year I appreciate all of your work to compile these lists. ❤

I'm 62...You just brought me back to so many memories with these great songs...I remember all of them because we were all glued to our radios...then we would here them when we went out...How I wish I could go back...
Hard to believe it's going on almost 50 years since these songs came out. It was great growing up in the 70's.
More good songs in one year than in the last 25 years
SO TRUE
Wow there sure was a lot of great music that came out in 1976! ❤

💯 so very true!

i never realized how many great songs were from 1976. another great compilation.
I am 65, still remember 8 tracks and had a whole bunch of them. Loved the music on the cassettes and miss the songs on both of them
Thank you so much for sharing. My dearly departed mother loved the 70's, especially Cliff Richard, Rod Stewart, Elton John and ABBA.
Yeah, my Dear Mom got me into ABBA back around 1980 when I was10 years old, still listen to them all the time.
I'm at the car wash, seeing a dancing queen, it's more than a blessing and oh oh oh mamma mia here we go again with the awesome 76 playlist my my how can I resist it.

As a teen in the 70s, I was introduced to reggae, disco, and beach rock in the 70s.
I'm the exact same ranking, despite having grown up in the 00's, my parents introduced me to the other decades' music from their own upbringing.
I was in Europe for the summer of 1977 , we recorded several weeks of our local Detroit radio station on a cassette tape to take so I can hear my favorite music, i remember so many of the songs on this video from that trip
No way 80s.
THE 70s WAS WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST DECADE OF MUSIC.
Thank you Random you never miss to give the best music, 1976👍
So much yacht rock! I was 10 for most of 1976, and I didn't appreciate how good some of the music was.
I was in my teens during the 70's, I once owned many of these songs on "45" record or 8-track tape, or "33" vinyl. Kids these days would never have even heard of those formats before, back then that's what we had..........and the almighty radio. The 45’s were 99cents at the record store in order of the top 40 countdown with Casey Kassum - CKXL. The best times and best music ever!
I was a junior in high school! Happy memories!
Great memories of the long hot summer of 76
Extreme awesome nostalgia overload---where are any music geniuses' now? -are they gone forever?
Boogie fever!!!, Car wash!! Afternoon delight.... Some of my favorites!!
197(7)6 was the hottest summer ever in Holland, I'll never forget!
Thanks maestro ❤️🙏🏻
The soundtrack of high school. It was rare, I was there, I remember it all too well. ❤
To this day I have Abba and Boney M in my workout playlist.
These songs and the bands of that era will always be better than the crap so called artists are producing today.
Except for Disco Duck. That is an all time abomination.
I was lucky to be 16 and experience this and the eighties music
I was 11. I remember almost all these songs.
I also remember laying in the orange shag carpet under the long stereos we had back then, listening to the music.
The sound was great under there, lol
Thanks for the memories great music😊

Thank you for this compilation❤
Love your videos, straight to the point without all the excess bullsh*t 👍
One of the best years for music. Thanks, random guy!
This was fun. Flashback to the 70's. When my life was much less complicated.
Being 11 and I was starting to really like music , I can really remember these
I was just a little girl when some of these came out but I still love them!
1976! Cuantos temazos clásicos. Thks srg
Love this. Thank you. If you can, Please play all the records through and let's have a party! Kids and teenagers of the 70s wayhay - we had loads more freedom then.
More than a feeling - the greatest song!
The best year of my life! Back to back major hits!!!
70s was the best decade for music in history
I'm so glad to be born in a year with so, so, so many good music... ❤
I was 10 in 76 and remember most of these being hits. ABBA and The Bee Gees owned that year.
omg...this takes me back
I knew almost every song in this list. I was still in my radio listening days. Not sure how much after this I was still doing so. [The music that turned me off was too much weird stuff without a lick of harmony.] this year shown here was still very singable. Thank you.
I was released as a single in 1976 as well. Damn, im old lol.
Какие все престойно достойные! Любо смотреть!
Без какой либо разболтанности !❤

Love Beth! Haven’t heard it in ages!
Good grief what a stellar year!!!
I was in junior high 7 grade, listening to these beautiful groovy music, plus doing my homework.
6:32 Perhaps the finest folk tribute ever written.
Just the best year for classic music hits and an amazing summer weather ☀️😎
Times of hapiness
Can we have these days back? So done with the world today.
Was an awesome senior year.
Yep, that's the most classic of all years in 70's music.
I was 11 and the best years of my life 💃🏻💃🏻🎸🎸
Makes me miss the 70s
Always watching your videos looking for that one music that´s in my head...
Love this series. Looking forward to 1 Hit of 1901.
I lost an eye in 1976 when my flared trousers and shirt collar flapped in a gust of wind.
Great video
I was 17 in 1976. It would be nice to go back and redo it, knowing what I know now. Good chance it would be like the Butterfly Effect movie, lots of unintended consequences.
SRG another great video. Must have been hard selecting which 76 songs .
So many great songs from 1976.
Fortunately, by this time, I was listening pretty exclusively to jazz and jazz fusion type music
Sure shows my age that I remember most of these being released 😊
Best songs. perfect Video.
I was born in 1976. Only top music.❤
I was 17. It was the next year when I switched from 8 tracks to cassette tapes for my car. Классная музыка.
Практически все произведения на слуху.
Conozco 32 y desconozco 44...Nací a finales de ese año.
Funny how some of the best music had to come over our somewhat unreliable car
radios!
There should be literacy requirements for a person to be able to post on TH-cam.
I remember all of those.
such a vibe
Saturday Night, Bay City Rollers, Billboard #1 hit in 1976.
That song will be included in the 1975 video, as it was in the US top 5 in December of that year.
UNBELIEVABLE that so many great unforgettable songs all came out in ONE YEAR.
This music is just in another whole universe compared to just about any recent single year of music over the last DECADE.
I was 10 years old in 1976 😢
ABBA and the BEE GEES ruled back then
I was 17 and had a great time and then 70s
70s had the best music
love love love... I love you!
Please do a Spotify playlist!
14 and a frosh in 76.
The era of funky sounds, promiscuity, and disco. 😆
I'm loving everyone's comments as much as the recap of the songs....❤❤❤❤
Great songs
ABBA's Mama Mia was released in 1975.
Yes but in most countries it became a hit in 1976. In the UK for example it entered the top 10 and reached no.1 in January 1976.
My birth year 🥳😄
❤🧡💛
That's the year I was born 1976
Another tough year for music... Afternoon Delight is pretty funny when you know what it is about and OMG I love Rose Royce singing Car Wash (movie was awesome as well). Tough year? Don’t think so. Move along
Linda Ronstadt “That’ll be the Day” charted in 76, no?
