It's the 70s Disco dance haters that hurt anyone connected to that era of music. They did release a album in the later part of the 80s but the haters didn't care how long it was.

I think that Maurice was under rated. You could hear him when the three sang together before Barry discoved his new voice ! What a loss when three became two and two became one. So bloody sad ! Again a loss to great music !

I used to think of Maurice and Robin as just the back up singers, but this video clearly demonstrates the magnificent voice that Robin had.
Have a look at videos from the 60's and you'll see all the songs where Robin was the lead.

I am happy to say since leaving this comment a few months ago, I have bought several Bee Gees albums on itunes, including Barry's latest "Greenfields". So crazy that a watching random video on TH-cam one night while I couldn't sleep turned me into a super fan. I absolutely love them.

I will always love the Bee Gees and their harmonies. This song in particular because I played it over and over in the car with my 4 yr old daughter. It's the first song she ever remembers hearing and she's now 28 and loves the Bee Gees too. Their music will be forever. ❤

Yes, every time I hear the Bee Gees, brings back childhood memories living in Las Vegas back in 1976 when my parents pick me up from school and the first thing, I did was turned on the radio and the first song came on was the Bee Gees.

I love the song, but it breaks my heart now that Maurice, Robin, and Andy are gone and Barry is the sole surviving Gibb brother. When I watch it now and see Barry sing, "I don''t want to be alone," it brings tears to my eyes. I know there are times when he feels alone - especially when he goes on stage now - but his brothers live on in the music. I love you, Barry, and I miss the other lads. Stay strong. You're never alone when people love you!

Barry is the oldest of all brothers, and I can't imagine what it feels like - outliving all your younger brothers by this long. Must be heartbreaking. Luckily, the older sister Lesley is still around (I think).

I think Robin is an angel...
Robin's voice is indescribable. Wow
Every time all 3 voices harmonised together, I felt like the angels have come down to sing to us. The Gibb brothers are out of this world.

I'm sure he did. I think that's why they would work so hard to make the great music that they did because they knew/know how much we love their music. We are truly blessed to have their music to listen to. Because today's music will never be as good as it was in the 70's and 80's. Imho.

I love this song just the other day I was humming the tune trying to get my 25-year old son to throw down a name and him were his girlfriend didn't know it and then I sat up in the middle of the night and realized I was thinking about the Bee gees, funny huh? This was a song my husband and I had just the year before he was born my son that is.😂

They had many great songs and this is definitely one of my favorites.
i think it got good attention, i was in my highscool final year when this song came out - I used to be crazy about music those days. There were no YT, no online songs, no computer - we used to copy CDs and Cassets.
If you remember those days there was a music collecation album called "NOW 3 - thats what i call music" (which by the way was huge hit as well). The album used ot have used to have 18 best songs of the year. This song was in that list, including my fav song from that year MMM BOP from hanson.
