Music not available on iTunes. Where I can buy their albums? I cannot tell you how much I loved this! My 3 favorite instruments all together in perfect harmony. ❤
One wicked group. B3 played by a master. Guitarist a fine job and perfect drummer. My only issue is the guitar sounds heavily compressed. Otherwise some killer licks.
incredible performance by one of the most talented and creative jazz organists I've ever hear,d, COMPLETELY RUINED by an incompetent recording engineer. The microphone preamps were totally overloaded, causing a "KHHHH" distortion on every single note, making this recording unlistenable to me after a few minutes. There is a nearly unlimited pool of talented recording engineers to choose from, but somehow the Kennedy Center managed to hire the only deaf recording engineer in the business and give the job to them. Truly, truly sad, a great loss to the jazz community, and one that was easily avoided.
This was the way the organ was setup, not the recording engineer. The gain control was set to almost wide open on the organ preamp, which in turns overloads the Leslie speakers preamp circuit and results in the overly distorted sound on almost every note. Believe it or not, there are many B3 players that cherish that sound. Personally I like to hear a little less overdrive, and have it more controllable by how hard I hit the expression pedal.
Killing! And the magic tricks too, what a treat!!
Fabulous Hammond B3 jazz player.
This was fun to watch! Thanks for posting!
Mr. Covington, an organist of his own character, undoubtedly has his place among the best
Superb performance and improvisation.

Smooth
The keyboard plays the bass at the same time … like if a drummer wd play at the same time xylophone and drum …
NICE, but .....All quiet on the western front = nihilo novi sub sole 🇫🇮

Indeed. Distortion all over the place. I noticed this at once. It's a shame.
