$20 for 5 miles is unheard of where I am. I’m considered a “top dasher” but I still get shittty orders.
My highest paying order with lowest mileage was $12 for 4 miles I was ecstatic

Highest order I've ever gotten was $16 and change but I think it's cause it took me out to the hood where there have been shootings recently. The guy even told me to be careful in the drop off instructions.
I still did it because $16 is $16, but you better believe I got tf out of there as quickly as as possible.
His methods doesn't work in non big cities. That's just the facts. People are cheap as hell. If you don't live in LA, NYC, Philly, areas in Texas or Florida to name some big cities, the hidden tips are trash.
It’s because your a top dasher you get 💩orders! I was too dasher first year it came out and then I moved and it my area it became NOT worth it, so I let it go, I set my alarm on my phone to 3:02 when the schedule drops and schedule out for my following weeks schedule no biggy. I do better but I turn down a lot of offers where I use to sit at 70- 75 percent I can’t get past 40 percent now but I made my goal daily and if it looks like I’m not going to I go home.
LA dashing is very much like dashing in NY places like Queens or Long Island. Lots of traffic. Decent orders though, but you gotta know how to be quick to make it work financially. Oh, yea, and ya gotz to speak some Spanish here. Lol.

After you find a good zone, then pick a good spot to park at in between. I find using the same general parking spot, if it is hot, helps.
I live in Cali and refuse to do LA. Parking is always horrible, traffic is always chaotic and some places now are requesting papers to prove your vaccinated. I'll stay in Sb County. Your one brave man to deal with all that mess.

Haven’t been making the same money in January 2022 that I did December 2021. I understand the holidays are busy but damn it’s been slow and filled with $4 orders

You should get a Honda ruckus or a 55 mph scooter if you can find one and work downtown LA. There’s this guy name Wilcer making a killing. $40+ per hour.

Same here I kill it out in Riverside county since the pandemic started and I think the dashers out here have the advantage because we don't have the parking and space issues that LA has so we're able to move in and out faster and do more dashes.
What hours do you guys dash I'm trying find the best slots/hours cause I have a evening job during the week.

I'm in small city poor city and I have had one $18 tip and many $10 tips. But 95% of the time it's 0-$4 tips
I worked three pay periods for DD begining Dec 19th and have yet to be paid. I've done everything on my end to rectify the situation - even going to my bank and making sure my account name matched the name on my license (including my middle name). The bank does not know why it doesn't go through, and they see no initiation from DD for any deposits to my account. Support has been useless and they have not responded except to say my case has been sent to a 'dedicated team'. WTF??

Kinda weak total for crushing it. Looks more like my average on a busy day in my small city. (That's *NOT* shade B! I swear.) Made $118 in 4 1/2 due to snow & the Packer game here on the Westcoast of Wisco last though. 15 deliveries too. Nothing showing higher than $8.50 but had a few nice hidden tips.
