First, I used this video to help pass this test the frist time. Thanks a lot. I will say out of 105 question none of them were similar beginings. They did have similar groups, but out of the whole test none of them start the same. Thanks Dr. A, you really helped me pass this test.
Congratulations on passing, J! We love hearing success stories, so thank you for sharing. At The Learning Liaisons we provide the skills, tips, and strategies to pass certification exams; we would never provide exact content, that is highly unethical and illegal. But you crushed it! #whenYouPass
Yeah man, I really mastered your test taking strategies. Took a lot preparation, really just feeling out the questions, eliminating the answers weren’t “best practice”.
Hello, my test is the Parapro assessment in Arizona. I'm pretty sure that's the same as Praxis. This video has been eye opening to me. I'm new to the Education industry however, I have been a homeschool mom for over 10 years. Thank you so much for the information, I'm excited to learn more.
Thank you for watching and sharing this with us. We wish you the best of luck. Let us know if you have any questions or concerns. Have a great rest of your day!
My friend and I currently attend UCF and we both are retaking our second chance next week! I really liked that you would explain *WHY* it was or was not the correct answer since the post results do not. My friend and I also have comprehension issues, but I felt that these were easier strategies!! Thank you!!
The way you breakdown the questions is easy. I have a better understanding of how to identify the verbs in the answer choices and eliminate what doesn't apply.
I really enjoyed your video!! You explaining how to view the question really helped me out since I have ADD and have a bit of a hard time comprehending questions during time tests! I’m retaking the PED soon so I plan on using these skills for my test!
This was GREAT!! Thank you for sharing! I will be taking my test for the 2nd time next week! I will practice at how to look at questions differently while reviewing! Thanks again Dr. A

I am taking the AEPA Professional Knowledge Exam in Early Childhood (#93) for Arizona on Thursday, and A special education exam after... I haven't scheduled it yet. You are 10000 percent correct. That one question with the two I think it was criterion tests, or maybe it was a rubric, I was sure the answer was D, not realizing the two terms were basically saying the same thing. I don't know how to put these terms in scenarios and I'm really hoping I can figure it out by Thursday, but I haven't found too much to study for these tests.
@@TheLearningLiaisons I took my test today and I used or tried to use some of your strategies! I saw where there may have been two sentences with the same beginning for example in the beginning they have the same word and looked at those closely but I won't get my score back for 2 to four weeks, I don't know if I passed, because I had to write written responses. Do you have anything like these videos for special education? I'll always let you know if I passed or failed lol, but I know Special education may be a little more challenging because of the IEP, 504, and laws and regulations.
I failed it by 11 points(FTCE)... I tried to use the "STOW" on the exam, but it felt like it knew the test-taking strategies and would ensure the answer choices were tough to break down and understand. The questions were SO HARD compared to the study guides from NAVED and the videos I see here. It's like they amped up the difficulty mode to "Nightmare" and it sucks because I was feeling super confident about taking the test because of how much I've been passing the study guide tests on the first attempt. I wouldn't feel so down terrible right now if it weren't for the fact that now I have to spend another $150 for an exam. I might just have to drop out if I fail it again....
A second grade teacher does a demonstration where she fills the same cup with water and then pours it into different-shaped containers. One container is tall and thin, while the other is short and wide. She asks students which container holds more water and some students answer correctly while others choose the taller, larger container. What concept is the teacher evaluating? A conservation of mass B object permanence C abstract reasoning D cognitive development
I'm going over this again. I failed my AEPA test by 12 points. I wanted to know if you could make some videos that covered planning effective and appropriate learning goals. Process by which young children learn. And instructional methodologies. These are the ones I got the worst points on, but for the life of me, I can't find anything to study regarding this.
I am sorry to hear that. I am letting Dr. A know what videos people are looking to see. Thank you for watching and sharing this with us, Tondra. Have a great rest of your day!
Dr A, I am being offered a full time teacher position, but my teacher certification is from New Mexico, but I am located in SC, I have my AA, BA, MBA, and in my dissertation defense stages for my PhD, what do I do to become confirmed for this position, since I have the teaching experience, and education, help!!!I I signed up for Teacher of Tomorrow, where this program will allow to take the courses at your own pace, and they will work with the Dept of Education, along with county or district you will be teaching in as well.
Greetings, Sarah. Thank you for watching and sharing this with us. Have you spoken with the South Carolina school district or Department of Education? They may have a solution to get you in the classroom quickly.
