Hi Dr. A, Thanks for the helpful video again, however, would you mind re-check the answer on the question about Amanda's ecological assessment by the social worker on the appraisal team? This question is one of my practice test #1 from the program that I enrolled, and the auto answer shows as "A classroom observation". Thank you.

Hi Dr. A. Here is my update from Dr. Henry. The correct answer is “a classroom observation.” As to your staff’s question-answer “ adaptive behavior scale completed by the teacher” would not be something the social worker does. As the answer choices, it is completed by the teacher rather than the social worker. So, I see the key point of the question is what is social worker’s role? I hope it helps future sped test takers as well.
In question #7, it says the student is functioning in the age-appropriate range in all areas including hearing. However, when she read the question she says the student is functioning in the age-appropriate range EXCEPT hearing. Is it except for or including?

I have a “quick”question for you; I’m moving to Texas in the next couple weeks, does it make sense to take my FTCE exam here in Florida or just got through certification in Texas? I passed my Professional Ed, and I’m exempt from the GK because of my Masters degree (not in education). Apparently, I still have to EPI program… unless I go to school for a second Masters in Education… 🥴
Definitely check with the school district or Department of Education in Texas where you are moving, you do not want to end up taking the exam twice.

Hi! Formative is not an option. The scenario discusses how to measure whether the student is learning the content....standards = criterion.
