Money Matters is a series where I have conversations with normal people such as you and I, on your personal finance issues.
It is important to note that I am NOT a financial expert, I am NOT SEBI registered, and I am NOT qualified to give financial advice.
Everything that I say in these videos is purely through my own experiences.
    - So these videos do not offer any stock tips, or specific mutual fund recommendations or get-rich-quick schemes.
    - I am not selling any product or service through these videos.
    - None of the brands that I mention in these videos have paid me to mention them, unless I explicitly say so (and I will say if the video is sponsored).
This also means that my advice may not always be the right advice. So incase I make a mistake, the best way to correct me will be to share your point of view in the comments, so that everyone can benefit from it.
I am not perfect, nor claiming to be either and would love to learn and grow.
The idea is simply to help people with their finance journey and through their story try to help others who may have a similar story.
Join us for another episode of "Money Matters" as we unveil a financial roadmap for Dr. Pradeep. With a combined monthly income of ₹2.78 lakh and rental earnings, we strategize to secure his retirement and achieve financial independence.
Discover our step-by-step approach to ramping up SIP investments, exploring real estate liquidation options, and setting up a systematic withdrawal plan (SWP) for a steady post-retirement income. Our goal? To facilitate partial retirement by 50 and full retirement by 60, ensuring Dr. Pradeep's long-term financial stability and peace of mind.

Taken aback by the annuity returns' magnitude. Having a guaranteed income at a level similar to this is intriguing because managing your own finances can be a chore and cause stress. The fact that nothing in life is certain is one problem. What happens if the provider of annuities fails? Naturally, let's assume that they are covered in this case, but is it really cast iron-most likely not?

During a market slump, you might sell your brokerage account while simultaneously buying back stocks or bonds in your retirement account. Bonds or money market funds in brokerage accounts do not necessarily result in higher taxes. My F.A. *Leah* *Alderman* *Foster* consistently devises a cunning plan that works for me.

Undoubtedly, the F.A. you mentioned has some value. I reran the scenarios after the first time, this time allowing for a 20% reduction in my retirement savings (in the event of a significant market decline). I felt reassured with my plan and my savings after doing that.

The one I use is always dependable and expectant; I don't really trust TH-camrs because they are just interested in topics that will profit them.
If, for example, I had 100% of my stocks in my taxable brokerage and needed to take a 20% loss on the market, I would simply sell the taxable stocks and purchase stocks in my IRA the same day. For instance, I could sell $40K of taxable stocks (even if the market is down), acquire $40K of taxable stocks, and sell $40K of bonds in my IRA all on the same day. Money can be used for several purposes. Please elaborate on why that wouldn't function. She had never given me negative advice before, so please get in touch using the name that was searched if you care.

My original retirement plan was to retire at 62, work part-time, and save money. However, high prices for everything have severely affected my plan. I'm concerned if people who went through the 2008 financial crisis had an easier time than I am having now. The stock market is worrying me as my income has decreased, and I fear I won't have enough savings for retirement since I can't contribute as much as before.

    • @StacieBMui
      @StacieBMui 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

Rising prices have affected my intention of retiring at 62, working part-time, and building my savings. I'm worried about whether individuals who weathered the 2008 financial crisis found it less challenging than my current situation. The stock market's volatility, coupled with a reduced income, is making me anxious about having enough for retirement.

This is precisely why I like having a portfolio coach guide my day-to-day market decisions: with their extensive knowledge of going long and short at the same time, using risk for its asymmetrical upside and laying it off as a hedge against the inevitable downward turns, their skillset makes it nearly impossible for them to underperform. I've been utilizing a portfolio coach for more than two years, and I've made over $800,000.

What's your networth, not counting your primary house ? If it's over 15cr, then you are FIRE ready. Conservative calculation is 50 times your annual expense, in your case it's 15 cr. But this can't include the house you are living because it doesn't generate anything (any appreciation on that house will be on paper only).
Sometimes, it's about what you are comfirtable with. I am 46, my networth 41 cr, my fire number that I made up is 100 cr. I plan to work 12 years more and will achieve my numbers most likely before my stipulated time.

    Calculations missed
    1. LTCG tax on SWP and Real Estate
    2. Son’s college expense, marriage expense
    3. Increasing expense of travelling around the world which is doctor’s aspiration.
    4. 50% sale of real estate will also reduce his rental income. This was not factored in.
Why didnt you recommend him to delay partial retirement to 55 instead of 50? I think the options suggested to him where not comprehensive. Role of an advisor is not just to paint a rosy picture but also tell the hard truth and help clients take difficult decisions proactively. I hope you change your approach in future videos.

So my biggest concern is that everyone here is just dreaming to get an internship or a part time job, even I also do that I made an account on INTERNSHALA in hope to get internship, I think I am not compatible enough to clear those 200 applications for just 2 roles & according to you what should we teenagers of age 17 do, so we can pay our own expenses including the fee of PG.
What should we more focus on ?
What are the skills that we should learn as to get a high paying job or whatever it gives.
What should we do and what should we focus more on for a personality develpoment..
