    I just want my money to keep growing faster than inflation. That’s why I’m looking for companies to invest my retirement savings of $250K I have sitting in the bank. I just don’t know the best strategies to use to make solid gains with steady cash flow.

      Pick quality stocks and keep track of them. If that feels too complicated, consider hiring a wealth manager to grow your money. That's what I do.

      You're right. A few neighbours and I in the Bel Air area work with an advisor who prefers that we dollar-cost average across different promising sectors rather than making a lump sum purchase. As a result, my portfolio grew by 40% last quarter.

    I feel investors should be focusing on under-the-radar stocks, and considering the current rollercoaster nature of the stock market, Because 35% of my $270k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered and i don't know where to go here out of devastation.

      I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

    I believe the retirement crisis will get even worse. Many struggle to save due to low wages, rising prices, and exorbitant rents. With homeownership becoming unattainable for middle-class Americans, they may not have a home to rely on for retirement either.

      Consider buying stocks when the economy is not doing well, like during a recession. It could be a chance to buy them at a lower price and sell later when prices go up. Just keep in mind, this isn't financial advice, but sometimes it's better than keeping a lot of cash.

      Rising prices have affected my intention of retiring at 62, working part-time, and building my savings. I'm worried about whether individuals who weathered the 2008 financial crisis found it less challenging than my current situation. The stock market's volatility, coupled with a reduced income, is making me anxious about having enough for retirement.

      It's impressive how much you saved during your working years, a feat not many achieve in a lifetime. Now that you're retired and rely on your investments, it's wise to redistribute your capital to mitigate risks during market fluctuations. Consulting a financial advisor can help simplify this process.

    If you are able to enjoy the small things in life and have access to digital entertainment, having a small 2BHK apartment (far from the city) with a good kitchen, a comfortable bedroom, a decent home theater with a music system, and an open space to grow plants and keep a few pets, can be enough for a fulfilling life, even with 1 crore. The key is to avoid comparing yourself to others and feeling jealous. This mindset fuels financial freedom, even with modest means.

Finally, the crypto market started turning around and I am astonished at the value of my crypto currency portfolio today. 30-40 cr for retirement.? Is the retirement for India or western countries? Please dont make such misleading videos.. In India if someone has around 1.5 cr, they will become top 1℅.. In US, to be in top 1℅ , you should have around $4-5 M.. So, he is probably referring US. In India, if you want life like a celebrity, you might need 20-40 cr but they are rare.. Post 60, your consumption becomes much less.. All expense gets reduced except medical for which there would be insurance..

    sorry, but i would like to call BS on numbers like this .. basically in retirement you are NOT spending on the following
    a) housing ( a good chunk of the middle class will have atleast one flat in whatever area )
    b) expenses on weekend outings along with family ( any big city person knows how much this costs )
    c) educational and day care expenses ( unless you are horny and make a baby at 60 ..then thats on you )
    d) EMIs , premiums on policies ( though this wont completely go away but u ll be reaping from a lot of policies you bought )
    e) NO FUCKING NEED TO STAY in mumbai, Bangy, chennai, delhi etc !!
    take all of the above out and you have
    1. healthcare expenses ( major )
    2. travel expenses ( if you are the type that wants to travel every few months )
    3. aids ( not the disease, help )
    you guys really think these things, if you take good care of your health and not fuck it up now, will cost 1 crore PA to maintain ?
    what would your fire number be just depends on how much u want to allocate to the finer things in life in the future and where u want to retire

    Indian wages are not so low as most ppl think so. Most of the daily need things r quiet cheaper so with 4LPA salary one can live comfortably. But problem comes when he has to buy a flat and pay EMIs or rent a house. Earlier our fathers used to work alone still were able to buy a flat & also run the house comfortably bcoz real estate market was not so artificially inflated like today. So salary is not the problem its the highly artificially inflated real estate prices. Nobody talks of this artificial inflation created by inflated real estate prices by builder-politician-sarkari adhikari nexus.

How can a normal working class people will get benifit out of it. It looks like only people with crores as salary can retire early and not people with 1 lakh a month . I think even 15X of annual expenses are sufficient balance funds that you have will also give decent returns assuming 7% return per annum... calculation is 15*7% = 1.05 i.e. if you are able to earn 7% return on 15 times annual expenses you will get 1 year return every year +0.05 to cover inflation... this is without touching your base corpus of 15 times expenses

    • @csrcaesar
      @csrcaesar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @Theshowstopper2010 15x won't be sufficient as inflation will reduce the real value of the corpus very fast. 15x also means you won't be able to have a portion allocated in high risk/high return investments. Which will mean every year you *may* earn less than inflation and the real value of the corpus will erode very fast.
      Also, the Govt published inflation rates are lower than actual household inflation. Unless you have other income streams from some gig of your choice 15x is grossly inadequate.

    • @Theshowstopper2010
      @Theshowstopper2010 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@csrcaesar i do agree that inflation and taxes will eat major part if earned at 7%... but in real life scenerio for me I have earned 15 to 19% return for around 20 years.... hence consiered 7% return as base figure assuming if you take FD /GSec with 2063 maturity or some later date maturity you can still achieve this... without any big issue... again it is assumed that you have adequate health, property insurance etc. And you will do someting for rest of your life post achieving fire status which will generate small cash that might not be very high but will take care of inflation.

    • @csrcaesar
      @csrcaesar 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @Theshowstopper2010 just curious, if you are earning 15% for 20 yrs why is the corpus only 15x? Is it because your lifestyle is resulting in a high X figure for annual expenses? I have met Saurabh Mukherjea in an event in Middle east, being a CA i think he is quite knowledgeable because he is from LSE. He is a not great when it comes to investing. his insights are quite vague which i totally disagree with.
    Tip- Do not always watch the video for directly learning from what is being said in the video. First try to understand the agenda the speaker(s) might be having and then think if their excerpts are biased or not. In this case can anyone spot a biasness?

    11:33 I thought gold is the real world anchor. Look at world war 2, when all countries were nearly bankrupt everyone bet on US because its currency was backed by gold and it became super power after that. The global tension or situation devalues the currency itself and stocks are bought using regular currencies and take the consideration of the fear factor in the market as well. I am still confused. Is anyone convinced what he is saying regarding gold?

    This is BS. You don't need that much. Even 1 to 2 million euros or dollars networth is considered rich. That means just 8 to 16 crores. Actually if you have 1 crore indian rupee, you can easily retire.
