The Sierras are quite beautiful with a wonderful variety of scenery and the gorgeous blue skies don't hurt the eyes either. Thanks for your efforts and enjoyed tagging along with you. Happy hiking, my friend ! Kenny C....Oregon😀😀😀
Yes they are! I'm looking forward to the next time I'm able to hike in them. I managed to do 3 hikes while I was in the Reno area last fall. Really beautiful! I'm glad you joined me for the hike, Kenny!
Thanks. I'm glad you enjoyed it! I was impressed with the snow too. This was after a very heavy snow year for the Sierras and the west in general. The snow pack lingered into September in a few areas here in northern Utah. This was my first time in the area and there is a ton of great hiking to be had. The route I took gave me a unique view of the surrounding mountains and the views of Tahoe were spectacular! Good stuff.
The Uintas are fantastic! I'd highly recommend doing the High-Line trail. It goes through all the good stuff. It's like a little slice of Alaska right here in Utah. I've done it twice and its always such a great time, even the time we got stuck in a white-out at 11,000 ft. on the 24th of July.
@@AbouttheJourneyThanks for the info. I’ve always enjoyed my times I’ve spent in Utah. I could spend a lifetime there and never see the same place twice.
looks awesome
It's beautiful! This was my first time hiking in the Sierras and I'm looking forward to hiking in them again. Thanks for watching! ~ Mike

Remaining snow in August at 9,000. Wow and some decent views of Lake Tahoe. Nice!✌️

@@AbouttheJourney Lately, I’ve been impressed with trips I’ve seen in the Uinta Mountains. They look intriguing.
