    Thank you guys!! I'm in the middle of a production and heard some sounds in a reference track that I was wondering how to recreate; some of those sounds are EXACTLY what I was referencing and hoping to find!! Fantastic library, and thank you for making it available for free; I know there was a ton of work that went into creating this!

      Thanks Big Brain! Its the result of many years of (over) thinking and trying to create a universal instrument that would inspire us internally. Something thats faster and more rewarding to use. Something to get us back to making/creating in an instant. Cheers, Troels

      @@Soundpaintmusicyeah.. it’s pretty crazy how much better SP is than Kontakt. In terms of interface and articulation especially. Effects too. I never "enjoyed" using Kontakt, it was a necessary annoyance. Cool that Soundpaint is actually fun to use. I mention SP to others, but lots of people won’t venture outside an established comfort zone - too bad for them. People using Soundpaint will be making next-level compositions. 🤷‍♂️ just my opinion as a professional composer since the 90s.

    this was so cool, thank you for showing so many things that you can do with this, and thank you always for all that you offer for free. I have 3 paid and all the free and such a very long "wish list" lol. I would love to see more videos like this of some of the existing free libraries you have. Once again thank you for the endless inspiration.

      You are so welcome Heather! I think one of the most beautiful things about SP is how it all sings together. Instruments aren't living compartmentalized, but rather in one giant ocean of sonic waves and possibilities.

    I love Soundpaint but I wish the player was a bit streamlined when it comes to viewing the libraries. Library > Single, Program, Part, Attack, Release areas can become messy with overlap. Why not just a single page or menu? Just a thought.

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

      We need access to both PROGRAMS and PARTS. One could argue ATTACK AND RELEASE could go away, but think of them as short cuts.

      @@Soundpaintmusic Thanks. (These things can sound so negative in text. But I do mean it in the nicest way and do appreciate Soundpaint.🙏) I sort of get it what you're saying, but based on the dozens of other synths, etc. I own, I'm coming from your competitors products. So, I think it can be streamlined. And also, a drag an drop ability would be handy. :)
      Also, there is no "save as" when saving. Instead, my new creation gets the factory name from where I started. Why? In order to save with a new name, I have to go find it in my "custom area" then click on that to rename it? It's a bit time consuming. Again... just a thought.

    • @Soundpaintmusic
      @Soundpaintmusic  23 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @@houdinididiit All good. We welcome constructive feedback from our community at any time. Its helped many aspects of our development. Remember this is not a synth, but rather an analog style engine designed to accomodate for all instruments from classical, abstract to synth and even next-gen instruments (not released yet). Not entirely sure I understand what you mean with drag/drog ability? You mean importing samples directly into a part by drag and dropping? (Cause you can drag and drop parts now).
      You can always "Save Programs to User Library". If you rename your Program (double click up in Program Name) and then save to User - it will have that name.
      Keep em' coming
      Cheers, Troels

      Is there a way to collapse and retract "all" folders in parts or programs sections? So you can easily access categories without having to scroll past heaps of presets/ closing categories your not looking for? Hope I'm explaining this right.

      @@ThePickledOnions So glad you asked that Pickled, since I take for granted everybody knows. If you quickly double left click on any main directory in the Soundpaint Browser. It will either expand or minimize the browser back to root hierarchy. Give it a go! Cheers, TRoels
