Very useful and handsome for a filling stitch. I would imagine you could use it in any direction, vertical or even diagonal, follow around a curved line with it in smaller scale, and also lay out areas where adjoining spaces switched direction. I doodled with a pad and pencil to try out some changes. Your workmanship is so clean and even, it suggests a lot of possibilites. Many thanks!

Eviiee Mondblüte yes if the clothing is not stretchy! if it IS stretchy then use a stabilizer like Sulky’s Fabri Sticky Solvy
