I left ten years ago when the time came. It was the right choice for me and my family.

i had to explore on my own, and be truly alone to understand. Despair has a golden lining.
I am here as a result of my ancestors and the love, strength, resilience, perseverance, and wisdom. The divine in each one of them (whether they believe, or knew it is irrelevant). I am grateful for their choices which led me to be here, regardless if they honoured those choices or not. I am worthy, as all who are born are, of this gift of life, and I will do my best every day to be impeccable with my word, unassuming in my thoughts, careless of others opinions and focus on being my best regardless of what they think of me.
In my path I have encountered myself in situations, spaces, and opportunities of which I have always dreamed of. I have literally found myself, almost by accident, in the exact place I wished for, only to find out it was not the right path, but egotistical and vain wishes. Fortunately, it has shown me my ability to manifest, but my intuition always shows me: “no, this is not what my higher self wants”. If I want fame, money, and love, the universe gives it to me almost unexpectedly, but it always comes with a twist, a challenge, or a trick: is this REALLY what you want? Once it is in front of me, I noticed the devil’s hand peaking through somewhere. I could take that path, but my intuition knows it is too good to be true. That’s not what I want. I am not a being of terrenal pleasures, I know that won’t guide me to enlightenment. Sometimes I think: maybe I should take this path, I could learn something from here, but there’s always a voice “you know better”

Look at them as learning experiences rather than let downs. I can't remember where I heard this quote, but it said "There are no failures, only learning experiences". If you learn from mistakes, your own or those of others, they were not a waste of time. Look up how many times it took for Thomas Edison to get the light bulb right. Look up how many times Babe Ruth struck out. Keep moving forward, and never give up on yourself.
We are the universe, it’s not guiding us, but guiding itself. Only the ego/intellect is in the way. Surrendering is actually allowing space for the divine to do what it’s supposed to do.
