I have learned again and again, to let go, but this time the difference is , my mental peace lies with me not an external validation, it is quite fascinating
I used to give 100% attention to everyone and found that giving free attention brings disrespect. Now I walk away from anyone who shows the slightest disrespect to me. It’s totally changed my life for the better.
Thank you for sharing your experience! It's great to hear that you've made the decision to move on from a toxic work environment and start fresh at a new job. Wishing you all the best in this new chapter of your career.

Stoicism has changed my mindset for the better. It has brought me a sense of peaceful dignity in situations that previously were solved with emotional impulse. Now I take the higher ground and I am better for it. It garners respect for myself and to others.
Thank you for sharing your experience with Stoicism! It's great to hear how it has positively impacted your mindset and approach to challenging situations.
I had a coworker who is an attention seeker and the most jealous person I've ever met in my career. One day, he got me in trouble and spoke negatively about me to clients. I chose to remain silent and walk away. I can't change him, but I can control myself and minimize the damage.
Thank you for this. Our lives don't need to be exhausting and filled with dread. We must all realize that engaging with toxic people/situations is like participating in an endless volley.
I always believe that the key to doing anything worthwhile is to enjoy it, to see it as a pleasure in the first place, and persistence is an essential habit. Always maintain an optimistic attitude, even if the ultimate reward is just the crumbs of the cakes.
im in the process of doing all of this right now. Moving across the planet to work towards a future and leave the toxicity behind. This video helps in knowing it is the right decision. Thank you.

My last two gf were single mothers. I checked out of the dating scene about 2 years ago and focused on me. I learned options trading and renewed my passport. NVDA is up huge after hours today and my call options are going to print me money tomorrow. I leave for Thailand in 5 months and have sold off basically everything except my car. Thank you single mothers for showing me how to live a happier life... Without you.
That's just 2 women and a vast generalisation. I'm a single mother who lives by stoicism and personal growth..... I'm single because I had to walk away, he didn't want to change and as we know, we can't change others
The start of a journey begins with taking the first step. Sometimes you need to leave people and or situations behind in order to grow. Just remember that peace and happiness doesn’t come from a person, place or thing. It’s within yourself to find.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts! It's true that taking the first step is essential for any journey, and sometimes that means leaving certain people or situations behind.

Thank you for posting this. Since watching this, I have cut off all contact with my family. Especially my stepfather. I've also cut any and all friends who made me feel like my friendship wasn't valued. I also left my previous employer whos management is extremely narcissistic and toxic.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It takes a lot of courage to make those kinds of changes in your life, and I'm glad to hear that my video could help in some way. Stay strong and keep prioritizing your well-being.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts. It sounds like you're on a journey of self-discovery and empowerment. Keep breaking free and embracing new beginnings.
Recently I've found myself ensnared in a toxic friendship online however I've realized im the one who is doing most of the venting and ranting to the friend and I've decided it would be best for me to give that person some space and also for my own peace of mind I will walk away from the friendship for a while, if not indefinitely.
Thank you for sharing your experience. It's important to recognize when a friendship may not be serving us well and to take steps to prioritize our own well-being. Wishing you the best as you navigate this situation.
Thank you. At age 70 I am so misunderstood for wanting peace and stillness. At the stage of fleeing this toxic situation of my partner still wanting things to be as when we where in our twenties. Please help. Ready to leave home and family. Is it the right thing to do
I understand how challenging it must be to feel misunderstood at this stage of your life. It's important to prioritize your own well-being and peace of mind. It's okay to seek a change in your environment if it means finding the stillness and peace you desire. Take the time to consider what is best for you and your happiness. You deserve to feel content and at ease.
