Drum mag in Fortnite: 5 shells
Drum mag in CoD: 60 SHELLS
alr ima assume youre just a kid, different drums for different guns carry different amount of ammo. no shotgun does or ever have had 60 shells.
@@refliqsyt576 I know that there’s no shotgun that holds 60 shells I was I was just saying that call of duty has a shotgun like that. You would need a massive magazine to hold 60 shells and at that point it would just be impractical.

The thing is, while spamming the gold and epic is better and easier, the mythic has incredibly fast reload time and a heashot in pubs late game can sometimes one shot people who have taken storm damage. Though, usually, just give a mythic to one person and the legendary/epic to the other.
Did you not watch the video or read the title. He is talking about pro players not us shitty pub player's 😂. Its a completely different game at that level.

I’d still take the mythic. Even if it has only three bullets at least it reloads faster
In builds I'd agree, but for ZB, if you miss or hit a subpar shot you could die because of having to reload (you can of course switch weapons, but they aren't as effective as the shotty up-close).
Because of this, I prefer a purple Gatekeeper over the mythic one
@@erezsolomon3838 True. The best way to use it is to practice aiming I guess. Also you don’t always have to use the purple gatekeeper, If you find a legendary one why not use that one

I’d rather have a Rare to Legend because at least you can mod those to have increased ammo capacity with the drum
Drum mag is a no-brainer advantage over the mythic unless you absolutely never miss.
literally just carry a warforged and use it as an smg?? 3 shots and spam from a warforged should be more than enough to kill someone and if it isn't you just have a major skill issue
Tbf it just takes two decent shots to kill with mythic and gold, so three and five shots don’t really make much difference in a 1v1. The faster reload on mythic also softens the disadvantage it might have in a crowd fight. Kinda depends on your playstyle really, accuracy or duration

Losing those 2 shots really does affect how you play, in close quarters if you don’t perfectly land all 3 of your shots your opponents still gonna have health, and more ammo than you before you can even reload for more shots

Fortnite should definitely let us mod the mythics, if they want to they could increase the price to mod it

no game where u can mod top tier weps is fun. its fun when the game just makes b,a,s, s+ tier weapons that are actually accurately min maxed for their supposed rank

they should have a limit of one modded mythic per game and it should cost more to mod
I feel like this is a situation where people prefer to actually modify their weapons with modifications that works for them instead of relying on whatever you're stuck with when using the mythics. Its actually one of the main reasons why i never picked up any mythics the previous season.

The only downside about this gun is the reload speed 💀 (especially with the drum mag)
It's got a pretty fast reload speed especially compared to the auto shotgun.
Plus the drum mag provides a 66% capacity increase, which is well worth the increased reload time. For something like an AR, the drum mag only adds a few bullets meaning you're better off using the speed mag.

That's why I always take the mythic over the drum mag. I'd rather have a super fast reload than a drum mag where that reload is doubled.
Ngl the gatekeeper has screwed me over at every given opportunity.

Sometimes certain guns just seem to not work with me. I destroy with the gatekeeper most of the time tbh, but the P90 back in the day was amazing but I just couldn't use it for some reason.
Try aiming for the upper body (torso ig) and if they're father away, aim in. I use it and it hits a reliable 100 every shot
Most pros, especially in fast pace w-key games, are sticking with the mythic. Peterbot used it to get 41 kills in the victory cup

@@Enklshtiendoofnklaus all you guys say is “we have a life” I play around 10 - 15 hours total a week max, hit unreal builds last season and I go to a BOARDING school where I can only play on weekends, I frequently spend time with my friends on the weekend mountain biking and just hanging out, there is no excuse for you to grow a pair and learn to press a few keys

The drum mag is good but you can get away with 3 shots and a reload, the bunkers are so late in the game that it might not be worth it unless getting in sweaty fights

You can see how good this game is when you completely miss every bullet you shot yet still deal full damage
People who drop the mythic for a purple just for the 2 extra shots is wild. I use the mythic in all my games and the reload is so fast that a .5 second step behind cover or a dash to break line of sight for a quick sec allows for a relatively safe reload. I do this in no builds where there is less cover on demand and i still kill in only 3 shots 80% of the time

@@c4elanIn my opinion, the Havoc shotgun was good, but it didn't require skill, the C4S4 halloween shotgun was the best gun (especially when the augment "First Shotgun" was bugged)

When the gun first came out the gray variant did 90 something damage
the mythic deals the same exact dmg as the legendary so if u find the legendary best to switch

This would be the same for me with the hammer pump last season. And also the gold and mythic variations do the same max headshot damage (190).
both shotguns last season were viable but this one doesnt fit
I used to take the gold and purple Gatekeepers over the Mythic for moddimg capabilities, but I don't really go to bunkers often anymore because there's too much camping, and if you hit all 3 shots with your Gatekeeper for at least 75 each, you're basically good, they're practically pickaxe-able at that point lol

Mythic for solos, purple/gold for duos

With the current avatar update today the air scroll is broken with the mythic as you can wheel up to the enemy and shotgun them in the face twice, the problem I have with the gatekeeper in general is how it reloads, it feels like a rifle more that an actual shotgun but that’s cuz I mainly use pumps
Tbh I prefer the speed mag over the drum mag cause the drum mag makes you reload much slower. Much more useful for 3rd parties where if you had the drum mag you may not be able to reload in time
I started doing this after I watched my replays over and over to see why I was losing shotgun fights. The damage is just enough so that 3 perfect shots is a guaranteed kill. However, miss some pellets or even 1 shot entirely and you lose the duel to another Gatekeeper. No amount of quick reload will save you. Even the famous advice of "Switch to another weapon it's faster than reloading" doesn't cut it assuming your opponent doesn't miss their 3. So the only course of action is a bigger mag. I pair this with the mod that gives better hip fire spread since you're hardly ever gonna ADS with a shotgun. Also the same reason I hate scoped shotguns. It turns it into a slug SG instead of a Pellet SG (more or less) and its annoying as hell.

I think the Gold Gatekeeper with Drum Mag is the best shotgun the game has ever had.

The reason why I always carry gatekeeper shotgun is has speed mag basically an insta reload and it’s quick reloads in

The reason is the drum magazine the extra 2 shots can make your close range conflicts more forgiving

Any chance I get I'm picking up the mythic. My preferred attachment is speed mag. So the mythic works perfectly. Plus it isn't a shotgun with an attachment for ADS, which is a problem with Megalo Don's combat shotgun.
I always grab the hammer pump ots always better plus they always come with 6 bullets
A good strat for Chapter 5 Season 3(I saw this vid late) you can get nitro and keep the Cerberus shotgun, so the constant reload isn’t a problem as nitro makes reloading faster
As someone who plays exclusively Zero Build, I agree that the gold and purple ones could 100% be better than the mythic with the right attachments, but as of right now, being the Avatar is just busted as a combo of all 4 elements is really all you need along with something to give you shields

Here's a little heads up the Mythic only has three shots if you get a purple or a legendary you can get the drum magazine quick to get five sometimes you can't guarantee to get the headshot with a Mythic but with the legendary or the Epic you can't end up getting a hedgehog after the second or third shot if you get it on the second shot you have three more shots if you get it on the third shot you have two more shots to kill the person and most people play zero build

Honestly, I think this is why this is happening. You can update your weapons with different things to help them so that’s why.
Literally speed mag and drum mag are basically the same on this thing but you get 1 extra bullet on speed mag due to how fast it reloads
Smart. I actually never thought of it that way. Sadly, I'd rather have reload speed and the increased stats on a weapon rather than the mag capacity as I can do more damage to a player with a Mythic Gatekeeper, than I would with a lower tier Gatekeeper.
Basically, I'd like to be fast and strong when in a fight.

it actual is pretty op bc if you have a hammer you'll have to him the for like 110 than switch to your smg or AR but if you hit them with the gatekeeper you can go 110 than 50+ and they're dead in 2 shots however you must have good aim lol
Facts, I regret even defeating Cerebus for that mythic. I just get the medallion & i’m out. Just maybe i might go after Hades for his smg and medallion for siphoning

I prefer faster reload because if I’m in a tough situation and I have to ammo in my shotgun I can reload faster even with the normal magazine it’s faster than the extra ammo

Hot take: the mythic gatekeeper isnt that bad IF used with Ares aspect of combat medallion bc it pushes the dmg up to 102 so it makes getting elims easier.
The boost from 3-5 is a huge difference and I will usually take the gold with drum mag
