    one of my favorite things I like to do in Star Citizen is be a taxi service for players help them get around if they want to go to a special place or something like that or do a delivery service I just don't know why it's just entertaining for me especially when you got those pirates were other players trying to get your cargo and you Bob and weave do asteroids trying to escape since the only vehicle I have is a Aurora strangely that ship is pretty good I've been saving my Cash 4 a bigger ship I'm hoping that one day they release places like in the asteroid that you can claim as your own base

    45 degree technique being faster to acquire targets makes sense. You're adding the vector components of your pitch and yaw maneuvering thrusters giving you a larger net thrust in 45 degree angle.

    Bruh thank you for this I had tonssss of dogfights in elite dangerous and power management is crucial you always want shields first so we would do 3 to shields 2 to weapons then boost but with star citizen it’s shields and momentum first then weapons when you are gonna destroy a mofo

    this was an awesome format. you should do this with more great pilots. interview them while playing shields down only.

    I'm struggling with my joystick to be accurate, always overshooting and i think its my joystick dead zone, i have a cheap thrustmaster flight hotas X and is so hard to even keep the sight inside the pip for me :(

    it kinda is suposed to work 45 cause you have vectoring thrusters on both sides that can pitch to assist eachother verses one side of manuvering thrusters working with no pitch

    I don't understand how people change power distribution during a fight. I always put it on one of the top screens yet still end up not having time to change power

      hotkeys. bind them somewhere. don't use the screen manually

      Quarreler cannons on wings
      Suckerpunch cannons on top
      Duel yellow jackets on the nose.
      8 arrow missiles
      4 electromagnetic
      All grade A stealth parts.
      Now that i know how to quickly change power distribution, I'm getting even more kills. Took out two hammerhead ai bounties last night, and a player in a warden this morning!

    If i could give some constructive criticism, you're over-rolling. In other words, you're rolling too fast to be evasive, and at the same time, completely throwing your aim off. And also not doing a lot of turning at 45 and this is hurting you. Often proper rolling is one of the biggest hurdles to get over. If you're using M&K I often recommend getting pedals and using them for analog control over your roll. While a left stick is good, some argue that binary strafes are more effective (at least for decoupled). And having analog control over your roll is more important.
    One of the most evasive maneuvers is a nice slow corkscrew while strafing up and outwards.

    The reason is dont like star citizen is because the physics are wrong. if Star citizen would have Newtonian physics(which is just real physics) i'd be all over it. but it is not, ships in space behaves like if there was an atmosphere LOL with a max speed that is below the speed of light and you can have thrusters on at max 1300m/s is max speed in star citizen universe unless you use Quantum drive... so fkn unrealistic. i dont like how ships have max speeds that makes no sense unless you're in atmosphere. in it's current form flight in star citizen is as arcade as it gets in terms of physics. That's not how objects with that kind of thrust behave in a vacuum. when they kickstarted this game they talked about it(having Newtonian physics) but Chis roberts decided against realistic physics because of 'balance concerns' but to me it's clearly because of now bad his net code is and how fast maneuvering would be the shitty game engine could never handle Newtonian physics. When a game with the calibre of SC and realistic physics come out it will be the best space game without a doubt and the best space dogfighting game as well. What i seen in this video is really unrealistic.

      I personally would rather have SC physics than "realistic physics". which is a useless term anyway when talking about a futuristic space game. But I get where you are coming from. It's obvious that you can't have people flying around at infinite speeds in a video game. not only is infinity impossible to create or quantify on any level, it would also be impossible to balance as you mention. Also the ships don't handle like they are in atmosphere in space. The ships are designed to counter inertia with reverse thrust to stop you from moving out of control. you can stop this to a point by flying in decoupled mode. but again. when talking about a video game where we are flying around fighting each other and aliens in a fantasy space universe... realism doesn't really have seat at the table.

      @@AverageArdvark What are you talking about, there is no infinite speed, and speed of light(conventional thrusters max speed) is slower than quantum drive... you point is invalid. also what would be the balancing factor would be the'player' inside the ship pulling g' people cant pull 100G's so that would be the balancing factor. imagine a racing game that didnt have proper physics. that's what arcade games are so Sc is an arcade flight game PERIOOD

      You and about 3 other people think this would make a good game.
      If everyone could accelerate to 25,000km/s there would be no player interaction, no dogfighting, combat would be clicking a button and launching a missile at a target 100km away and getting a hit confirmation. Any attempt to get close enough to actually use a weapon would result in jousting past eachother at multiple times the speed of light.
      The game would fail within a few weeks. Nobody would play it.
