    Those look nice. I have also been pretty happy with sockets with allen heads, if clearance is an issue, they come in 1/4" size, and a high tooth count ratchet will allow around 3 degrees of movement.

      Yuan is the same word as Yen, except in Chinese, much like the US, Canada and Australia (among others) will use Dollar. In any case, since they're Japanese you will want to convert from JPY to USD. It seems you converted from CNY, which is a totally different currency. :)

    you would never use the standard hex key as shown. you would use the long end and spin it in between your fingers.
    might have a very limited application, maybe. i don't want millions of specialty tools.

    • @cwell2112
      @cwell2112 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      These would be handy if you have an obstruction preventing 60 degrees of rotation (as shown in the video) AND an obstruction that prevents using the long end of a regular L-key as you describe. Limited indeed.

    what a weird video

  • @monkeyjuju7441
    @monkeyjuju7441 6 ปีที่แล้ว

    Too bad they're effectively useless for any bolt even 5mm countersunk or below the highest surface... Also I'm not an anatomy expert but I'd be willing to bet you exert yourself more flipping your hand then repositioning it every 30 degrees (essentially rotating your hand 180°+ for each 30° of side to side movement) than you would simply keeping your hand in position on the tool and moving your hand up 10mm, back over 60 degrees and down 10mm into the bolt. Probably waste more time too. Also since they're much longer and once the bolt has been broken loose you can't put them long ways like s regular Allen wrenche you'd be wasting way more time in many situations where you can freely spin the standard allen wrench 360° but don't have enough clearance for a tool double the length to spin 360° resulting in you unnecessarily needing to remove, flip, reposition, turn, repeat. Seems to me they created more problems with their "solution" than the "solution" was made to solve.

    • @GarnettTools
      @GarnettTools  6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      😱 Set down your pitchfork my man, it isn't that serious. No need to over analyze it, of course these are made for a specific situation and not intended to replace a standard L key.
