S2 tool steel is super hard, but CrV is actually more prone to shattering and breakage. Chrome Moly is the one that will deform. If the bit is from Taiwan or China, I’d definitely stick with S2. If US and a reputable brand, it will have ideal properties regardless, due to the quality of our steel and processing. Granted it does come down to both the quality of steel and processing, so in some cases CrV may exhibit properties closer to Cro-Mo, and vice versa, but S2 is on another level. It’s not as easy to work with for the manufacturer, but has ideal properties for bits, chisels, etc...

good review. Home depot as a husky Allen key set that has ends similar to mac rbrt style. Have not tried them yet. The matco look like eklind. Good luck in Texas this weekend and bring home a Wally.

You really should try out the Mac RBRT sets, they are the best I've ever used in my life. I'll never use anything else

Double ball end. If you snap one in the head of the screw. Dude your screwed.

Lol well ya that can happen especially with cheaper ball ends but that much force shouldn't be applied to a ball allen
