Those red hands signifies Lord Krishna as Lord Krishna also used to keep his hands red. The way she swings little Krishna in "nand ke laal" (shree krishna) 0:51 with thread swinging the little krishna like Yashoda did. And in "Hari yeh chunariya Jo jhatke se keechi" 2:31 is Krishna pulling Radha's "dupatta" and on the second hand she covered Radha pulling her dupatta back. And in "dekhu dekhu tujhko mai hoke nihaar" she represents the "Gopis" 1:07. She also makes flute and peacock feather with her hands in "mai toh rangi Hari Hari ke naam" 2:56. The song is all on Radhakrishnan love... ❤

@@vaishalirawat8825 "mohe ran do laal means" marry me as in "put the red colour (sindoor) on my trichion (maang)" that's why in the starting scene the lady behind are throwing red colour in the air. After saying those lines she later convinces him by saying my love for you is like the love of Krishna and Radha. "Hari hari" means Vishnu then she says "mai toh rangi Hari hari ke rang" as in even if you reject me I'll still worship the lord for your better good.

Women with small faces n long neck r very attractive to my eyes. Here deepika looks like a dream with tall body, long neck, small face n big eyes. And the cherry on top is her gorgeous smile. The costume also suits her very well.
Her grace is unmatched. Her execution of the choreography is mesmerising. People may have related more with kashis character but you simply cannot deny that deepika nailed the ethereal grace of mastani. I can't imagine any other actress doing it better. Bhansali's casting was spot on. Deepika as Mastani, PC as Kashi Ranveer and Bajirao.

She looks divine(tons of unwanted foundation layers though)but dance is pathetic... No grace, she is only good for cinematic dance, not anything with a classical touch. Movements are really awkward and she dosent look confident. Compare this with "Kahe ched ched" by madhuri in devdas and "Salaam .." by Aishwarya rai in UmraoJaan

It's movie scenes like these that make me want to travel to India. The background looks like one of those famous forts in Rajasthan or Madhya Pradesh. I would love to see these sights. @@isthisprice Eh, new and modern is boring. I can see that anywhere in the world. It's remarkable how the modern and new looks all the same. It's like they hire the same three architects to do the new and modern in all the big cities of the world. It's depressing. But the old places are the best--you can't get that anywhere, and India has A LOT of old places. I would love to see and oooh and ahhhh the old buildings and the old art and then dream of olden times, like in this movie scene, which is the best part of traveling for me. I lived in China for a time and that's all I did--go to the ancient places, the old palaces, the old temples, and just lose myself. I wanna do the same in India.
This female lead is totally my female crush, looked up the actress here and there and I gotta say the act and wardrobe from this movie really suits her IMO the best, elegant and elevated. The way she makes the traditional costumes flow with her movements is mesmerizing and every frame is just so ethereal
