    so whit in the part of the glossy efecct , the light that comes whit the head dont work , you have to buy a light to point to the face so you can get that effect ? becouse I try whit the face light of lelutka and I cant see any difference , very nice video !!

    • @BostonB
      @BostonB 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks for the comment! For the shine to show, you will need Advanced Lighting Model selected in your graphics preferences. And also make sure you’re using an EEP/windlight which highlights the materials. I use Annan Adored. Sometimes you need to reposition the sun on the face. We may do a video on this soon. But no you shouldn’t need to buy any additional lights

    • @Uwotmat3
      @Uwotmat3 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      You need to activate show advance lighting in your preferences, it’s in your graphics tab

    catwa made a head with more realistic movements and lelutka with more beauty. Really catwa wins by having more realistic gestures. I love sl for having such dedicated breeders, thank you all head breeders, Catwa, lelutka, Akeruka, Logo, White Rabbit (Hybrida beautiful work) and other breeders. Sorry for those not mentioned here!

    • @essentialoilrn
      @essentialoilrn ปีที่แล้ว

      I agree with you. Catwa is 100% easier to use and Lel/EVOx but not as pretty. I get overwhelmed with all the Lel on the market

    an amazingly detailed instruction. However given how complicated this all is it only conforms that I never want to upgrade to a mesh head.

      You can get the permanent discord invite link in the lelutka group profile. There is a help channel. You can show screenshots of issues you have as well as typing out your issues/ questions. You can get support from their team.

      Thanks for the comment Ellen! The initial learning curve can feel a little steep but once you understand the different types of layer stacking, it's a breeze I promise ;)

    why is this so complicated for no reason and everything costs like 3k for a damn head alone

    • @kirayoichi3113
      @kirayoichi3113 17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      The reason is complicated is due to having the ability to build and create
      Which means everything was created by us players in SecondLife. The SecondLife team have not updated the classic system avatars in years. So, players have found ways to cover them with their creations that become VERY popular.
      The people who made the mesh varies bodies/heads sell them. The prices is by their own choice. And us consumers choose to pay or not. If tour join the owners store group, you'll have notifications on when they'll do discount sales, giveaway prizes, and store credit currency. 👍

    They're really nice heads, I just wish they were mod 😞

    • @lostware6458
      @lostware6458 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Just curious - if you could edit the mesh linkset manually what would you do with it? Since you can already change the skin, add tattoos and edit the shape. From LeL’s point of view it could open up a can of worms with support issues "How do I fix this thing I broke?" and so on.
      I guess being able to add scripts to its contents might have some utility. I do like to hack things too but never thought about doing it with my mesh head.

    • @TheSeventhOutlaw
      @TheSeventhOutlaw 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@lostware6458 Super late but I like to take products I own apart and repurpose them for other builds, avatar looks or photography props. It adds that extra bit of creative freedom when something is mod which sadly is becoming less and less of an option in SL these days, especially when it comes to avatar parts and accessories, clothing, etc. As a former creator in SL I find it depressing and more then a bit infuriating, especially when it comes to the now unfortunately popular predatory practices revolving around "allowing" modding options (ie. fatpacks only, etc). If lel's concern is really that then all they have to do (like most creators) is take a moment to add a strong suggestion in a notecard for customers to copy their product before tinkering with it and if that's really too much for them then there are always redeliveries when something goes wrong.
