hi, thanx for the video, i can only fit 15 grams barely in my 51mm portafilter, r u suggesting using this dosing cup, I ll be able to fit 18 grams in the 51mm? as far as I understand, 51mm portafilter is made for max of 15 grams. I hope u can help & reply 😊🙏🙏

You can buy xxg baskets for 51mm, with a bottomless you just get a thicker Puck so do keep that in mind
Hey bro, how long did it take to learn latte-art? I've bought dedica 685 and now trying to make any kind of latte-art but no success...
I get 100ml of espresso for 16ml dose, about 26 secs. Taste fine to me, i use aeropress grind size as espresso grind , nothing would come out, even if i lowered the dose.
I bought the bottomless portafilter from Amazon and it says you can put 16-18g in it but i couldnt even fit 15g in it, it just ends in a big mess all the time. Most youtube videos say 18g is the best for the double with like 40g out. I have the little Timemore C3 ESP grinder and the first try ended in a mess because the espresso wont fit. Is there a model that can really take 18g? The espresso i did tastes sour like hell and also a bit bitter. I bought a cheap Lavazza red to try out but maybe i should have bought a better one even for testing because if the lavazza is bad i can try my * off and it will lead to nothing :)

Hi Arty, what pitcher size that you use to fit in with the steam wand? I use the 600ml and the stem wand is a bit too short...
I use 350ml pitcher.

What is your weight ratio ? And which button do you press the one with on coffee cup or the one with two coffee cups ?
Doesn’t look like he was going for any particular ratio. 2 to 1 would of been 36g. He extracted about 27 from what we could see with the camera angle.
Is that the stock 2 cups delonghi pressurized basket, I’m wondering 18g of espresso will fit into it.
The double basket only takes 16g max

That dosing cup had not enough cover on its rim, does sometimes coffee flying through that gap when you tap the portafilter?

where did you get the basket from? For the ports filter. I can barely fit 18g in mine

Usually single shot we use only 8-10 grams of ground coffee, why you use till 17 grams?
Because we double shot....
