Hello there!! 1st grade teacher on my 21st year and omg- who would of thought to use pushpins to cut off the tedious “extra” paper?? Genius!! Can we talk about the ease of black border and a Sharpie??! What!!! Now here I am adding that black border to my list of things I need to stock up on LOL!! So glad I found you!! 🌸

I've been teaching for 27 years and always struggled old fashioned way: scissors, staples first, repositioning, doing it over, buying new border, etc. This was awesome! Thanks.

Oh my gosh, cutting the excess paper with a push pin is GENIUS. 6 years teaching and I've been struggling with scissors the whole time! THANK YOU!

Good idea using the drawing pins to hold and to cut the line of the paper too. I always look like a crazy octopus girl trying to use a stapler before it all fell down. Genius! Love the basic helpful hacks!! And bless the sharpie and also white out on white furniture!!

Love the push pin idea to cut the paper. Clever! I also use a sharpie to cover up the white spots on the corrugated border.

Thanks. I just went to hobby lobby yesterday and purchased the weathered wood paper. I wasn't sure which boarder you used so I just got plan black. I think it looks really good with the one you used. So it looks like I'll be making an exchange. 👍🏾🍎🤗

I just used the push pin tip on my bulletin board! I use fabric on my bulletin boards but have to combine to panels to cover my entire board. The push pins were brilliant for holding up the fabric and made it so much easier to move the fabric as I needed to. Wish I had learned this sooner! Lol....so many wasted staples...

I use a cheap staple gun from Home Depot, pushpins and fabric. Joann's Fabric or Hobby Lobby (with a coupon, of course) or Walmart should have a variety of fabric colors! Have a great school year!!

I have to use push pins to help me when I'm hanging my boards, especially since the scrapbooker in me wants them to look perfect. I went back to the old school Bordette borders last year and love them!

Hi, I am in Malaysia and we can't buy any bulletin board paper or borders/bordettes. What would you recommend that I use in place? The weather here is quite humid so I am not sure if the glue from wallpaper will stick to the back of the bulletin board

If you’re a teacher I would really recommend you NOT use OCD as an adjective. It’s a serious disorder, and not at all what you’re trying to use it as. Please stop.
