For the glare on the laminated sheet…someone on my fb teacher group mentioned mate spray from rustoleum. It’s magic on top of laminated material…takes away the shine.

I love your bulletin board tips, and the idea of coloring the staple block is such a time saver

+Mrs. D's I usually only color the staple block when there are overlapping papers on a bulletin board in the middle of the board. But yes, it saves sooo much time!! It's also fun to color the staples before stapling student papers. They love it!!!

Great video Jenn. LOVE IT! I just started student teaching in 6th grade ELA. I decided to start my own youtube channel since there are not a lot of student teachers on here who want to give insight on the ins and outs of it. I use your channel for inspiration.

I love all of your hacks!! Coloring the staples is genius!! :) How many days do you spend woking in your room before the students start?

Where did you get the cute rag-ties that are draped in the upper right hand corner of the video? I want to get some to hang over the windows in my classroom!

Great Hacks! Thank you for sharing. Do your students carry around the book boxes with the supplies in them, or do you keep the bins in one spot of the classroom?

Hi Jenn, discovered your videos along with Pocketful of Primary this summer! I teach 3rd in KC and love all of your advice and info! One of my "hacks' for teaching is using a pocket chart for my students to turn their homework and papers in. This way when I go to collect it, it's already in alphabetical order and easy to enter grades into the computer. Thanks for your channel!

Also, The Lettered Classroom is in PA, I think, and Pocketful of Primary is in Maryland. Not NJ, but close!
