- So, the rein of horrible reused 2011 sounds is now over as Armstrong Powerhouse has given us the first instalment of their enhanced Class 455. Is it any good though? Stick around until the end to see my opinion.

Long time no see m8. Also, this is good, not as good as I thought, but good. Plus at 6:05 the motor sounds almost sound like the 1972 stock on the Bakerloo line, from my POV anyway
And if you want to know what I mean when I say good, I’m talking about the enhancement pack, not the video, but the video is good

YAWWIE DID AN IMPRESSIO-ahem. I agree with a lot of what you've said in this video. Though I am slightly confused as to why there is no passenger view and the cab is refurbished in a unrefurb pack.... for once, the reused recordings arent bothering me, the features and visuals are, but not tooooo much. If you care, I rate it 7/10. Decent.

Volume 2 is already in Development, where as class 465 volume 2 probably hasn’t been touched in 3 years.

The cabs aren't different in the subclasses Yawwie. The original BR cabs were the same for all three the only difference was the South Central units had one of their handsets on the left-hand wall as opposed to the mounting to the left of the main windscreen, the differences only occurred post refurb for the SWT/Southern units. All SWT/SWR units have identical cabs (unless you count the traincrew doodles) but I agree a new cab would have been nice and would have been used for all the units in the pack. There are other things missed out but some are limitations with the model and I would have liked to have seen a new one too but better than a kick in the b*****ks though. As for the sounds, the motor sounds are new ones, I recorded them way back on 1Y10 the horns and motor alternators were mine also.

Dude the class 455 ap has a new ap pack
I bought the dovetail 455 and thought I'd treat myself to this. Nothing but problems. The main one is the MSO and TSO cars are invisible! I've tried reinstalling everything but no joy. AP are no help on the matter either. Very disappointed
For the intermediate cars to show, you will also need the Class 455 Pack by Thomson. (also on Steam)

Also what's your favourite traction motor?
SWR are replacing the Class 707 and are cascaded to Southeastern. And the Class 701 "Arterios" should begin entering service by late this year.
