    Hi Mike. Just started doing this video and am hoping to loosen up my lower back. I can't do some of the exercises fully but do what I can and will be measuring the progress. For example I can only reach my calves but will eventually touch my toes and can only just about cross my ankles but aiming to put my leg on my thigh. I love your videos Mike. I love your understanding and patience. I giggle when you remind me not to slouch! How do you know? I'm 82 and wish I had found you 3 years ago after my fall. We were locked down and couldn't leave the house so I had to do it by myself as I live alone. What a godsend your videos would have been. Wishing you love, laughter and joy. Off to do your upper body workout with weights. 🤣😘

    As an 84 year old lady with severe lumbar osteoarthritis and being in a lot of pain, I find your back excercises done on a chair really helpful.. Have tried others but I like your excurcises the best. thank you

    Hi Mike. Once again thank you for your videos, your dedication and your commitment to senior health and exercise. 🙏🙏What a godsend you are. Since following your seated leg, weights, core and this one, for just a few weeks, I can now walk without a stick in the house and, yesterday, actually picked up something off the floor. Something I haven't been able to do since a fall in 2019. My lumber region was already damaged and like a block of cement but now there is life in it. Yeah!. You are an Angel. 😇May your day be filled with the love and joy you give to others. 🥰😘Glenda x

    Thank you for this video, Mike! It really works for my back. I am 57 yrs young :), but fell on ice a few years back while moving snow and I think the damage must be manifesting as occasional back pain now. Thanks once again for helping people like us!

    I am not a senior but I fractured my right ankle and cannot stand on it nor lie down to work out. My lower back is becoming quite sore from using a knee scooter and crutches to get around. I am glad to have found this seated lower back strengthing routine which after just following it once, has already brought relief to my back pain! Thank you.

    Your exercises are doable
    Im 68 yrs old lady n have tried your seated exercises
    This back one helped me immediately in my back pain though I just did each 3 times

    I read your letter today, that's a beautiful picture. Sometimes it's nice to get away, I love to walk especially when the weather is nice, I go to the park there's a walking, running, biking, trail. Also many ducks, prairie dogs, and a lots of activities. The trail is a mile long but you can walk as many as you want, I've done your excercises today and I will go to the park. I love walking it's good for my heart and I've lost over 40 lbs. I wished I could be where you are it looks so beautiful, thanks for all you do by helping us seniors. I will be 73 yrs old next month and have had breast cancer, try to keep active. Thanks again!

    Hello Mike, thank you for the excercise for sciatica. I no longer have Sciatica, but from being a walker find now that I cannot walk more than 5 minutes when I have bad pain right across my lower back, if I sit 10 seconds, pain disappears, I’m thinking that thru’ sitting so much, muscles have weakened, so I hope these sitting back exercises will help.     Hello Mike! About 7 weeks ago I had achilles reconstruction surgery. After 6 weeks I needed therapy, but due to high co-pay I couldn't afford it. I found your videos and now I am walking without an assistive device. I want to thank you for your devotion and caring compassion that you show to all your viewers.     Hi Mike. You have some great videos. I am a 74-year-old man with lower back pain. I injured my back in 1984, so I've been living with pain for years. I live in Ontario, Canada. Lately, I've been getting a lot of upper and mid-back muscle spasms. The pain is about a # 7 out of 10. I found your channel and after doing your stretching exercises, my back is feeling better each day. I like the fact that you do the exercise with us. Not just telling us what to do. Following an instructor is more apt to get us to move. Thanks for sharing.👍👍🍁

    These are perfect exercises for seniors and also quite challenging. Advise watching whole series of videos to keep fit.Better than going to gym and using exercise equipmentt

    I do some 'get fit' exercises every day but think these exercises are by far the best ones I have come across.A lovely quiet and sensible delivery and just about enough time to really get some benefit from the exercises.I do them most days and occasionally twice a day!Thanks so much.

    I wish to credit you for a great video. I've been noticing that for about 4 or 5 times a day lasting for about 30 seconds I actually find myself standing up straight with my chest out and shoulders back. It's due to working with your video once a day. Congratulations, you do very well working with your audience or individuals that you see!

    I just discovered your channel and am so glad I did! I recently had a 10% compression fracture to the T12 vertebrae. It is healing quite well and time for some simple exercises. I am 66 but very active until this issue. I have gone through several of your videos and plan on doing some every day. Thank you!

    Another great exercise, which I just found. Thank you Mike. I am now graduating to about an hour per day, each day. I do feel that my posture is getting better, and my legs stronger. I do leg strengthening, core and posture work, balancing, and some hip exercises. I seem to be quite good with the balancing, so will concentrate on the others a bit more. I still can't do the quadriceps, which I used to do regularly, a year ago. I think I had an injury of sort, or maybe the progress of my hip arthritis got in the way.

    Ty so much for this. I have degenerative disks and once in a while I pull a nerve or a muscle and I literally can’t move. Your seating exercises help me. At first it was a challenge because my back hurt so much but I’m slowly getting better and it’s only been 3 days. ❤️

    Started these great exercises/stretch/back. I have Restless Leg Syndrome which keeps me awake most of the night/ awful spasms into my back, so desperate to stretch out morning /evening. Hoping it will work!

    I can certainly agree with practice makes perfect, not perfect yet but 2 weeks later the leg grossing over the other was definitely easier today, 2 weeks later. I am with you for at least half an hour almost every day Mike

    Hi, my shoulders pop a lot when I do shoulder rolls. Once I had some physical therapy and they said it's nothing to worry about. Should I continue to do the shoulder exercises when they pop?

    Mike... heat or cold? I have tight lower right back issues...from playing the cello my who life. Am doing the back exercises and they help. When it is tight (after teaching) which treatment is preferred? Thanks!!

    Thanks for this video , I have a really bad back problem low back middle back upper back left shoulder rotator cuff is bad, knees are bad, and i have dizzy spells when i try to look up at ceiling for that one stretch.. so i don't look up... How long will it take for me to get my back strong so it doesn't hurt so much carrying groceries up the stairs. I got like 15 stairs to climb very steep. very old building. thank you.

      Hey JHCarlson, it sounds like you have a fair bit going on in terms of your pain and the dizziness. I suggest seeing a Physiotherapist in person to get a proper assessment and individualised program to get on top of the pain and to ensure you're walking the stairs without any issues.

    I am 66 and I was told by my doctor that I had c 3 damage I also have spynadosis are these exercises good and safe for me thank you
