Wow. What a great show. What could be nicer than a down home vintage car and tractor show in the great Midwest? All-American fun, if you ask me. Wish I didnt live so far away. Judging by the restored lawn and garden tractors, that hobby has really taken off. Not sure but I think the first red car Junior took a picture of is a Hudon Jet. A pretty rare bird there days. Looking forward to a restoration of the Continental engine.

There's a farm museum near me that they have a similar thing every summer. I saw some pretty cool tractors. Some guy had a custom John deere 110 that had a narrow front axle on it like the full size tractor.
Looks like a very good time, and plenty of Taryl fans. Jr photos of the old cars in black and white look good.cheers !

Living in a large city, it's really nice to watch stuff like this and know that there are still nice, personable people in the world.
I'm live out in the country in Indiana. Most everyone says "Hi" or "How ya doin'". We don't know what a stranger is. Everyone is friendly and helpful towards each other. It's the way the world should be.

In this day of zero turn, and electric mowers it's nice to see some good old equipment in like new condition.

Love the Schwinn bike that JR was riding. They came originally with a stick shift on the upper frame bar. There were a lot of these around 1970. I was hoping to see some old Comet Mowers, I had one from the early 60's that I got for free at a garage sale. Got it running and used it for a few years before finding a real Snapper at a curb. Ran it for almost 20 years.
Good to see Elk Skins! Tell him I said hello. 👍 You fellers need to come down to the Denton Farm Park next year for their annual Thresher’s Reunion. Several thousand usually show up for the farm equipment, great BBQ and fine looking country lassies running amok.

military standard engine.designed by the military and contracted out to many manufacturers.came in 1,2&opposed 4 cyl. using most of the same parts.listed hp is about half of actual hp.I realy moss being able to go to the shows,so thanks for the ride along.

Those military engines are awesome! Gas or kerosene but NOT diesel. It used to be easy to find them as nonrunners (with diesel in the tank) now they're not as common. Great find!

My first car was a 69 bug with a 15 c/c engine and a slick stick transmission a parachute engine hood with black epic mags in the front and U.S mags in the rear painted a Hawaiian orange. With custom interior diamond tuck fiberglass bucket seats and trim. Loved that car. And the best part my 8 track cassette player.
