One suggestion: working a bit on your audio (recording and post) would be a great way to boost your videos. You have a very calm voice and smooth humour, both things you should capitalise on on the audio department :)

You mean the time it takes to switch a single key switch and keycap and the then tap it consistently till it comes. And repeat? He only gets credit if he had done each board entirely filled with a switch with a real typing test. Then went back and lubed them. Then filmed and lube. That’s work son. This is just jerking off the z key.

Tactiles are super hard to cover honestly, I prefer to speak on linears haha. Just gotta put disclaimers to let people know that my information may not be 100% accurate

Since you have the parts for it, could you try putting a Dark Jade stem and spring into a Kiwi housing (bottom and top?) I really want to know if I'm the only person who finds this frankenswitche really appealing. To me it feels even than Bykos. Thanks dude!

topre is technically membrane so it wont be full pain
@@boiledicetea no it isn't. it literally doesn't have a membrane. rubber domes don't necessarily have to use membranes and membranes don't necessarily use rubber domes. its a capacitive design, therefore it has a pcb and no membrane.

I loved the way the Moyu Blacks sound.
But it's pretty hard to get them where I live, so I guess I'll go with the Bobas. I was in between Bobas and Glorious Pandas, but Bobas sound better and the stem seems more tactile.

What a nice work you done there.
You can actually compare tactility by pressing two switches with the same spring against each other. Holy pandas are a lot less tactile than all franken variants with zealios and boba bottoms and even zealios and u4t themselves in my testing.

Yo Shoobs, dope video! I fell in love with tactile switches the day I got to sample the whole lineup of Zilent switches. (I chose the 78g version for my keeb.) This awesome comparison video showed me more tactile switches I need to try, especially the Zykos/Bykos switches!
Btw, are some of the timestamps 30 seconds off? On my end, some of the time stamp descriptions don't match the texts in the video. Just wondering.

As soon as my ali order comes in, I'm making some outememe switches. Silent grey, lubed filmed, 150g spring swap. Hoping for a solid muted thud, and some tactility to remain. If not I'm gonna try to source some V2 stems because the general consensus is they have the biggest bump it seems

When the Dragon Fruits first came out I asked TKC directly on IG what the housing material is and they told me "the same as Kiwis"
AND kiwi's housing material are described multiple times online as "the same as Tangerines"
why cant they just write "UHMWPE" for all three 🥲
I like the less tactile naevy and dragonfruits for feel. Boba u4t and Holy pandas can be ok for me depending on spring weight and lube on legs but damn they are loud

Super helpful review but it seems to be missing one important switch for me. How would you say Box Royals compare to the rest of these in terms of tactility?
Where would U4 (silent) fit on this tactile scale? I have U4Ts coming to me after getting U4s and bobagums for the silent build. Very happy with these Gazzew switches.
The constant mention of "in my opinion," I argue, is actually hard to continuously do when speaking. I give you much respect for all the work (and money!) you spent into making this awesome video Shoobs!

Genuine and probably ignorant question: during the wobble test visually I notice way less wobble in the "wobbly boys" and much more in the "nice" ones. Am I missing something?
I assume wobble is just clearance between the stem and top housing, Sky Blues for example seem to have A TON of wiggle room judging by the video
Quick question, I hope I just didn't notice you mention this in the video but were all their spring weights the same? Because I've heard that you made rules for the sound test but I don't think there were some for the feel/tactility test. Thank you Shoobs! Great video as always!!
For the tests, I just used the stock springs for each switch. I got the lowest offered weight for each switch but yeah I did not spring swap for the tests.

Bykos were my pick as well when based purely on the sound, hard to judge the feel though. Finally bought Boba U4T's yesterday..
