Nice to see some Case/IH equipment being used. Really liking those aerial shots from your drone. My cousin has a dairy farm in PA. and they have always planted corn in strips with hay in between the strips of corn.
Best tractor John Deere ever made. Super reliable without being super complex. I spent a significant amount of my childhood in the cab of one. However, most of my hours at the wheel were pulling a 30' Offset disk.
You guys have the same Chisel plow as we do. We pull it with a IH 1466 Turbo and it pulls hard! So much so that it actually stops our 1466, and that tractor is a power house!!
How Farms Work hey ryan love the videos. Not that i dont love the old 46 i was just wondering y you didnt have the big girl hooked up? Anyway keep the videos coming. I enjoy watching them
I know just giving you a hard time! Its good to see land being used and cared for. You guys look like you do really good job in that sense. Im not too far from you. Keep up the good videos
Thanks for sharing...reminds me of growing up on the farm, man that was a long time ago...still seems like that was the best days of my life.

Great video.Thank you.
Great video.
Cool vid. You always do a great job.
A bit rough on the clutch at 4:57.
With the fence removal and now tilling down the hay field, have you reduced your cow herd or gone from dairy to beef?
Thomas Rouse All transitioned to beef. We have a lot more pasture ground than I've yet to go over.
How deep is that plow going? Any rocks?
Great video! What's the reason behind cropping in strips?
Fred Grendel They're meant to slow erosion, and were popular in our area in the 80's especially. They're called contours.
What's the width of the drag ours is 15 we pull it with a steiger and a roller on the back
Is that a case soil controllers?
did u guys get rid of the dairy cows
Why are you doing it with this tractor? Where's the 8r?
Lars Braat On the disk?
awesome video :)
ryen you should show the 4640 tedering grass
We still mulboard plow, but if we do that and chiseling we would plow after corn and chisel after beans

We can't let the 82 get all the attention!
Why did you plow the ends first
colton cox so you have room to turn around
Sweet tractor! Youd think corn was $8 after seeing you tear all that fence out and plowing up hay ground!!
cowcamp87 It wasn't doing us any good not being used.

How Farms Work I have to give you and this baby credit. You made me actually like John Deere . That's a lot coming from me
Yep... more money in $3 corn than in hay or straw...
