To be honest, the quality of this video, in terms of content/hosting and general how it looks is really good. I'm quite surprised its only at 7k subscribers. I have seen worst channels with more subscribers. Why is this channel even not viral yet..........It's almost as good as that CNA documentary kind of video. Mediacorp quality imo.

I used to have a Muslim colleague who does the bridal makeup. Sometimes she would pop by this building and return some accessories used in the wedding and we would catch a ride to the building for lunch.
That sounds so lovely. Didn’t know they rent these accessories :)

actually right, in the past JCC first and second floor were mostly cloth stores. previously (if I'm not mistaken) it was Emporium.
Just wondering if Tanjong Pagar plaza may be one of your stop? Perhaps the hawker Center have more delicious food with the 3 famous nasi lemak, almost by noon all sold out. Please consider 😂

I remember Joo Chiat Complex as a venue for applying/collection of The Blue West Malaysian Passport. That passport has a parent and child combination.

We generally don’t visit places that have undergone too many facelifts or renovations. The old shops are usually already replaced by modern chains/franchises, and might not have much of its original flavour left.

I used to do my passport at Joo Chiat Complex. Is just behind my house, and my VI is just around the corner. Many good foods there, further down the road. There is a Malay Coffee shop where you can find Malay Fisball noodles, zi char stall, Fried bananas and other fried foods. They are all my favorites. Joo Chiat is actually a place for Malays and Peranakans. Too many tasty foods there.
Sound like a lot of gems around the area 😋

@@HongisBored A passport office was opened at Joo Chiat Complex on the fourth floor on 5 Nov 1984. This office issued both international and restricted passports and was closed on Sep 1999. Due to falling demand and the introduction of the new passport system, the SRP was abolished. SRPs were no longer issued from 1 Jan 1999 and were valid for travel until 31 Dec 1999.
