Feel like the parasite is whenever joes speaking and Becca’s acting as his subconscious in a way as a defense mechanism to it, Becca’s trying to keep him in control while Joe is trying let him loose so the parasite can take full control, huge hint towards this being the case is looking at how both venom and him started using “we”

I think him and becca are acting like the devil and angel on butcher's shoulders. Eventually, hes gonna have to listen to one of them and get rid of the other and i think he'll listen to Becca

There’s no way they hired a much larger actor to just rehash the Becca hallucination with him. I think Joe Kessler is going to be a even darker version of butcher, and that’s why he has been so much in the dark, he may even have super powers that he keeps hidden but it’s clear he has something that he’s hiding from even butcher up his sleeve to take soups down with by his attitude, and the way he carries himself with no fear. I think the show runners wanted everyone to think that he was going to be a hallucination Which is what most people think now so when he bust in and kills a bunch of soups, with some kind of swat team with high-tech anti-soup, shit, or something along that lines, it will literally shocked everyone and blow. Everyone’s mines way bigger than if he’s just a hallucination, like everyone thinks. Joe is going to be the Omni Man power set of this universe the super man like abilities like home lander just not the laser vision.
I feel like we're gonna learn by season's end that Kessler has been dead for a decade or something and is a manifestation of Butcher's parasite.

Kessler has audible footsteps when he walks. I don’t think Becca does. So I think Kessler is butchers partner hiding in the shadows (especially being government that’s how they operate) and Becca isn’t real. If they both are fake and in his head it wouldn’t make sense for one to have audible footsteps but not the other.

It's always from Butcher's perspective. We'd have to see him interact with another person.
When it comes down to it, both hallucinatory characters are really just Butcher himself.
He has no clue what to actually do with the time he has left, despite outward appearance. ( I know Butcher will probably live but I mean from his perspective).
I think Butcher is simply lost. And the two manifestations represent the only options he can see.
But I think there is in fact a 3rd option. Or hallucinated person that is. F**cking Lenny Butcher.
Imagine Lenny shows up and sets Butcher straight.
Giving Billy a way he can save Ryan, and ruin Homelander.

Well after playing MGSV I could see Butcher essentially hallucinating like Venom did, some hallucinations are stronger then others to a degree that the person can't tell what is and isn't real.
I can't believe I didn't immediately catch on to this after I literally just finished Mr Robot. It's so obvious looking back on it now.
I just rewatched episode one, and the way they shoot Kessler's introduction it seems *really* likely he's not there. So many shots where Butcher is framed alone, talking to nobody.
I like the direction they've taken. It's probably the best way to go. The show has too many "real" characters anyway.
I’m swaying more towards schizophrenia demon (or in this case, Schizowormia) and i think the idea that becca acts as the angel and kessler acts as the devil on billy’s shoulders is cool

Giving Butcher the drugs makes him seem real but the fact we haven't had a scene where Butcher talks to Joe on the phone before meeting in person like we've had with almost every character makes it confusing. The man just shows up out of nowhere. I think the writers are just having fun with the fans at this point

Ryan kills Grace Mallory Billy kills Victoria Neuman. other Ashley dies in the next episodes. There is no A-Train vs. Homelander. Hughie gets engaged to a shapeshifter posing as Starlight, and the real Starlight finds out and gets pissed. The virus will be created Kimiko gets infected and cuts her leg off, Kimiko speaks for the first time to Frenchie and A-Train survives this season. Main Ashley takes V, and the last scene of the season is Homelander looking at Soldier Boy in his coma.

If Joe was a hallucination he would have one outfit just like Becca when she speaks with Butcher. However, Kessler had so many different outfits as (different shirts, ties, blazers) so he is real.

He is real he shows up when butcher is with someone else in ep4 i think in a scene in a park everyone also thought homelander was a hallucination but then homelander during the soldier boy fight clearly says the deal of scorched earth is off the table so it wasn't fake they had that convo the show makes it clear when he is having hallucinations people just like to think they figured the mysteries out where there are no mysteries

Good catch, guaranteed Joe or his people had something to do with it Billy did not have enough time to do that by himself but a Joe Kessler with OmniMan like power set could do it and do it so fast no one would notice. Kessler is real and he has powers he’s way to comfortable and not afraid of superhero’s at all like he knows he’s invincible. Maybe he got injured like everyone thinks but was given V by the US govt and CIA and is the CIAs secret sup. Thats why he knows he can control Ryan if homelander gets him for him. Gaurentee its a OmniMan or even Soldier Boy type power set. If butcher got homelanders abilities maybe Joe got SoldierBoys since the show has started to show multiple people can get the same power set
