Come on Rough Country (RC) (*never on my Bronco), make the speaker hug the ceiling behind the roll bar.... Stop taking what little rear view we have.
Thanks for making the video.
*For those that love RC, I'm happy for you, I've personally never heard good long term reviews of RC products.... My loss, I know. 😊
AH, to their credit, this was designed for the 4 door. I just made it work for the 2 door. i'm sure they would make it a better fit. I'm eventually going to modify it.
@@NorthShoreBronco Yeah, I knew that, and you did a wonderful job adapting it, but like every other rear add on speaker bar, they block vision, some company needs to make one that tucks up.
I watched the video hoping to see something different. I did see the lights, but that's kind of the last thing I need shining in my eyes at night while I'm trying to look out the rear view mirror. It probably can be turned off at night, however you still have that big bar blocking your vision.
Thanks again for the video, I do value your opinion/knowledge on product reviews.
Replaced my 4" speakers with 4" Pioneer and added Infinity subwoofer from Crutchfield underneath the drivers seat, sound is awesome and you can feel the base!
nice! Yea, I need a subwoofer. I don't think there's any that fit under the seat of a 2 door?
@@NorthShoreBronco Check that Infinity subwoofer, I believe it is called a mini. I believe the price was around $240
I had one for about 6 days and the instructions sucked, the install sucked, and rough country customer service wasn't any help either. All ranting aside, great video and thank you for taking the time to make this. There wasnt any other videos on how to install this on the tube. So thank you again!
Thanks for watching! Did you return it? Or keep it?
@@NorthShoreBronco I ended up returning it. Wasn't worth the hassle.
Just picked up my base model with Sasquatch. Living the dream! Going through all your videos!!!!
Sweet!!!! It's been almost two years and my Bronco still makes me smile! Thanks for the support!
Getting this soundbar hopefully this weekend. Just purchased an Outer Banks Saturday and the soundbar came in today. Might still install a JL Audio 12W3-V3 with a JX 500/1. Not sure yet. But thanks for the video. I just want some bass and I know the JL will crush my ear drums lol
Nice! Enjoy your new Bronco! Even with the soundbar, I'm still wanting some bass....
Always entertaining buddy!
Thanks man! I appreciate the support!
I looked over and I saw a speaker on the side and it put out base. I think I’ll upgrade the speaker and see what it does and if that’s doesn’t work as well I’ll just put a little amp for the base and should be fine plug and play.
How did you hide your wires? I just installed mine and trying to find a clean way to make it look decent
I didn't yet.... But, one thing I noticed is they tend to fibrate and hit the speaker. So my plan is to tape them onto the back/top of the speaker with black duct tape so it blends in. Did you do the flash yet? Let me know what you think.
Just picked up a family 4 door bronco and need some accessories help and there's no link to soundbar or am not looking in right spot might get one thanks for the video
I'm still on the fence if I like the sound bar or not. Getting anoyed with having to turn it on all the time... And it blocks the back. Just letting you know. If your looking for more accessories, heres some if my faves th-cam.com/video/NB5ptwEMmlY/w-d-xo.html
How can u play both of the bluethoot devices at once from your phone the trucks and the sound bar at once ?
Just found your channel loving it real info is awesome your Bronco is cool. I am sold will be ordering asap
I'm picking up my 2 door this week. I cant wait. I'm enjoying your 2 door content and im interested in how you like to run your lockers on your bronco. I guess its just trial and error at this point. I think it was advised to usually run the rear and use the fronts when you feel you need them. Just wondering how you like to use them. Also wondering your opinion on people flashing their bronco to include some different modes. Ide really like to have baha mode but dont know if its worth the trouble.
Awesome! You're going to love it! For lockers, use the front only when you really need them. And make sure your wheels are not fully cut to one side... that's how I broke an Axle. As for getting all the modes... well that's up to you. I'll eventually do it on mine, just haven't gotten around to it. Play around with the ones you have for now, they will keep you busy for a while. Enjoy your bronco!
Good thing those directions were spot on 😂, good recovery though
Haha thanks! Sometimes I think the engineers let their kids write the instructions haha.

Great job and definitely entertaining. Appreciate the hard work. If i install a sub woofer enclosure in the rear panel, can I use that 12V to power up, or run to battery?
hmmm, depends on how much current it draws. I'd have to look up what the plug is rated for. If it's 15 amps, then you could probably run up to a 1000Watt sub. If it's bigger than that I would run it to the battery.
Got it. I think I'm running to front battery and will tap into AUX switches. Still trying to figure out what system I'm going to put into 2022 2 dr. I was thinking soundbar but didn't want to impede view.@@NorthShoreBronco
@@nmdelninno to be honest, I wish I would of just changed speakers and put a sub in. Soundbar sounds good, but not enough base for me.
what program did you use for soundbar flash?
I had it done at the dealership. But you can also use forscan from what I hear.
@NorthShoreBronco thank you sir.
Great informative and entertaining videos. Where did you get that shiftknob? Does it just screw on like typical shiftknobs? Nice upgrade to the black one.
Thanks! I ordered it from Twisted shifters. They sell an adapter for the Bronco. They can also engrave the shift patern but I chose to just leave it blank. Thanks for watching!
I put bigger boxes similar to the ones I have now with six and three-quarter kicker speakers and it is loud as - - - K. I’m gonna put front speakers and see how to do it with a blocker. Or maybe I don’t need the blocker maybe some one can tell me and I’ll go from there see if i can hear the mids …
Did you need an Amp?
No amp. They are loud …. Crazy loud…
Does it provide a lot of bass?
Alot better than stock. But not quite enough for me. Still going to add a powered mini sub eventually
Did you ever check the rear speaker in the back the subwoofer? I just seen a video that showed a dummy speaker and dummy amp that is not real on a bronco its completely fake its crazy that ford did this 🤯
I have the B&O package and the FORScan what is the Sound Bar setting?
I had mine flashed at the dealer.... here's a link to someone doing the forscan flash th-cam.com/video/hca1nHYu6VQ/w-d-xo.html
How do you flash it?
I had it done at the dealer.
Always need to make a blood sacrifice for the Bronco Gods.
Haha, whatever works!
I hooked mine up and I have a horrible delay. They sent a new sound bar and the same thing. It’s like a full two second delay from front speakers to the Soundbar on aux in mode. Is that what yours did also before the flash?
Really? No, I didn't get that at all? You have it in Aux In mode?
Can you still see out the rear view?
Unfortunately no...
What does flashing it mean? Mine has a whistle noise from the aux cord.
Flashing just means programing from the dealer. Make sure your plug is all the way in the aux port and that you are using the provided adapter.
I’m getting a whistling noise from the aux connection.
you installed it incorrect. The circle end pieces go on speaker not on brackets duh. Then you mount on brackets
You mean in reverse order? Yea I guess. I was trying to retrofit it to the 2 door so that's why I did it that way. Could of been easier the other way.
I got one & the thing is sooo out of whack it's not even funny... Constant high pitch hum, not in step with the vehicle audio (1sec lag behind).... most likely returning
Lag? did you get the sound bar flash? and using the aux in mode? or are you using blue tooth mode?
Typical Rough Country instructions. “please install as appropriate with proper installation”.
hahaha, I know right! Oh well, it's more fun this way anyway.
Does this speaker turn on automatically when u turn on the bronco , ?
It does not.... And it's annoying.....
@@NorthShoreBronco that's ridiculous,not for me,
