Yes, it has great value. The CB Design wheels are the most accurate and precise our hobby has to offer. Wheels ribbed for easy tire mounting. A custom built chassis is going to outperform a pre-built chassis almost every time depending on the design and builder. Then the satisfaction of building it yourself. For building it from scratch, it is a lot easier on the wallet in this kit than piecemeal approach. If you want cheap and don't want to scratch build then use H&R or other chassis.

I think a lot of people have the wrong impression of scratch building. It’s not a money saving venture. It’s about building something yourself. And the pride of doing it. Not to mention having a car that’s not available anywhere else. If you’re just looking to save money, buy RTR.
