Area 51 Raceway North Carolina is a channel dedicated to slot cars and slot car Scratch building. What is scratch building? Scratch building is a lost art of making a slot car chassis out of brass and piano wire. My videos are to encourage others that they can build these simple cars yourself.

Hey Jorge- You ever experience trouble fitting a Piranha motor? It was a tight fit stretched the pod and made the rear axle bind. Was just a couple mm larger than the stock Fly motor but couldn't make it work.

Jorge definitely a nice car, I have 23, and haven’t tune it yet, I ran a few laps, very quiet and fast and yes tail happy on the turns. it is a great buy.

3D printing is the future. I saw an article or it was a videos not long ago I wish I would have saved it. And it showed a 3D printer setup that actually scanned the object and downloaded the file. Then allowed you to print it. Great show. Very insightful .Yes being able to do 1/32 cars is needed.
