If you do not have a #single_phase_to_3_phase_converter, this method can be used to run a #3_phase_motor by connecting a matching capacitor as shown in this video.
How ever this should only be for test purposes of a 3 phase motor or for operating for short periods of time, when 3 phase power is not available.
If you intend to run it for extended periods, it's best to go for a different option like using a #phase_converter.
