It really is! This version is a lot more reflective of the world we live in!
All these gritty, mature adaptations of Winnie the Pooh are cool and all, but in my opinion, Goobus' interpretation of him is my personal favorite. Traditional Pooh is just a pure, considerate soul who wants nothing but good for those around him, is way to precious for this world, and as they say, is just a silly little ol' bear.
To be fair just like the `real facts` of Dolphins & Sharks, a pure & innocent soul, can still exist in a body that just gives the impression it can murderize you in seconds if you dared to make any negative remark about its favorite sports team.

I love how the minute Pooh Bear went into the Public Domain, everyone immediately decided to make him into a horrific monster.
Granted it was something a lot of people did even before he went into the public domain but now there’s no fear of Disney bringing down the copyright hammer on them
Meanwhile me just sitting here waiting till someone takes the character seriously and makes him into a warrior fighting in a clan of kingdoms, like can you imagine if each character in Winnie the Pooh were warriors like in a RPG, and yet all anyone ever wants to do is just make some lame-ass monster interpretation of him. What a lost opportunity.

Long answer: rabbit is smart or at least he has convinced everyone that he is. But every story features rabbit running around always being in charge and being demanding of everyone. Pooh once spent a simple afternoon walking around a tree following his own footsteps and treating as a great mystery. Pooh is happy and rabbit is miserable. Hence rabbit is so smart that he doesn’t understand how life works according to Pooh.
