We'll be reviewing the HS-10 Cyytoys 1/6th scale The First Hunter, who fans of Bloodborne will recognize as Gehrman~

Gehrman: My dear, I am an old man. One who's seen the worst of the world, but also it's beauty. It's been far past my time. I know I'm no longer needed. I've finished my tasks, done my duty. Now...now I can rest from the Endless dream...finally.
Juka: ...It will be quick.
Gehrman: I know, my dear. I know.

That was beautiful.
This is one of the best fan based dialogues I've ever read involving Gehrman and captures his exhausted personality perfectly
adore the callback at the end with Juka basically being like the Moon Presence and Gehrman welcoming the Eldritch presence.
I saw that, noted the reference, but than all I thought was "Gehrman want upys."

Most folk would be horrified by Juka. But for big G this was the most sexiest moment in his life.
I think less sexy, and more a relief.

The 3D printing lines make it look more like wood strangely enough
agreed, I could not see what she was talking about, it looked really really good, probably the best made figure weapons I've ever seen, and the head texture is nothing short of mind blowing

Exactly! Too bad it also made the wheels look like wood. But it looked great on the chair itself.
@@Artrysa at first I thought the wheels looked like shit, because the spokes were bent and battered, but then I realised that was probably on purpose.

God that's scary! An old man in a wheelchair doing wheelie with a scythe and a gun in hand ready to kill you... That would be one the most hectic boss fight ever!

It's sad how the first hunter raised his palms representing his acceptance of death. And see how his weapons and of course his bowler hat. Has been left neatly in his wheel chair promoting the idea that his job is finished and he's ready to go in the afterlife. Minus knowing how Juka killed him though. *cough cough* the space marine that was sacrificed to her for the birth of a new Goggles.
Edit: I noticed how she grabbed the first hunter gently unlike to other of her victims. Or maybe because his old and she might break he's bones.
Might be the fact that she has nothing left to take from him. He is literally a broken husk of a man. At this rate death and the peace it will bring him would be a mercy.
Nah it's probably a homage to one of the endings of Bloodborne where the Moon Presence gives the Hunter free hugs
@@jupiter0103 interesting. Ima check it out, it's quite wholesome to see some hugs in a game that has an old man using a sickle to kill he's opponents.

Giving him peace might not mean death per say. Lest we forget the Great Old Ones are sympathetic by nature.
You know he a boss if he has a bigger hat than his normal hat.
What would make him a more terrifying boss is if he had the same moves as the players and act as if he is a player in the game, now that’d be terrifying and impressive at the same time

Here's hoping Juka gave him the mercy of release.
Little known fact is that Gehrman's wheelchair is actually motorized, and meant to help him chase down fleeing beasts in the streets of Yharnam with his Burial Blade and blunderbuss. Sadly, the motor chair was meant for the paved streets of Yharnam, so it has been gathering dust as a regular wheelchair since Gehrman's confinement to the Hunter's Dream.
So you’re saying we can have geherman drifting through the streets, eurobeat style in a motorized wheel chair.

I wonder why the first Hunter lifted his hands up towards Juka (think I spelled that right)? Was it to welcome death or maybe he just wanted a hug?

Juka looks similar to the (spoiler) the moon presence, so he might just have a moment like "Bro I did my job, can I die yet?" or something like that
But since juka isn't moon presence weeeellll~

Honestly, I think it was more of an "I accept my death." Seeing as Juka's immediate reaction was curiosity. Tho with how she kills, I'm sure it was quick, which is exactly what Gehrman would want. A quick, painless death after all that was done, and all the pain he had suffered.
the way he lift his hands up when looking at Juka it's like he's saying "take me sweet death"! XD
The fact that old man raised his arms out like he's welcoming death to juka just made me laugh

The figure looks amazing, and I agree with one of the other commenters, for the most part the 3D print lines do help with the illusion of wood. Very cool stuff!
On the "This is the wae" You can barely see Her face on the glass reflection near the ending. So this is technically not the first time.

I was trying to figure out what was different about Reznya... And then I realize I still haven't gotten used to her without her mask on
If Lady Maria gets a review, I'm betting she'll either battle Juka or end up turned into the Plain Doll by Juka.
The first would be... quite ironic for her character.
She was the one to immedeatly regret the actions at the Fishing Hamlet and renounce Byrgenworth and the hunters as a whole to the point that in what was supposed to be her eternal torment, she protected the cursed Infant Great One.
For her to take up arms again, it'd take something very grave, on the same level as The Hunter trying to reach the Fishing Hamlet... maybe a horrible monstrosity keeping her mentor and good friend from his well deserved rest?
The second would be horrifying and I pray not that we see it.
I don't know why but Gehrman's death felt kinda sad just welcoming his end like that no resistance or nothing
Sad, yes. But oddly comforting. The night and the dream were long. He can finally rest for real. He's finally free.

After watching this I can only wait for Moonshine to animate a real horror inspired short.

Two things: first omg i imagine a hole boss fight against Gehrman, but he is on his wheelchair and attacking you with the Burial Blade while he is rushing at you with the chair.
Second, i see that in the reviews Reznya is taking off some of her accessories (the mask and the ribbon (?)), interesting.
And so I saw him bathed in the moonlight, man ascending and poised to be the master of death,before I knew it I felt a gust of wind and then I felt nothing,nevermore

For real though, Heidi is improving in her voice over work so much from the first reviews. There's such an expression of confidence, flair and a hint of sexiness in her portrayal as Reznya now.
I can't wait to hear more of her in action when we *finally* get more Shrapnel!

Actually, I think the 3D printing that can be seen on the wheelchair can be forgiven.
It kinda looks like the rings on a tree, so this adds a tiny bit of extra detail to the “wooden” wheelchair.
I love Reznya's new hair.

i kind of want to see juka in her own animated short. she looks like she can pull off being the very dark god from the stick bot's animations a while back. though i dont know why but why do i get the feeling she would have two sides a kindly motherly persona for beings like her and then a psychopathic side when she ticked either unpetted or in combat.

I recently played bloodborne for the first time. Has to definitely be one of my favorite games of all time.
I beat old man Gehrman in my first 5 tries while It took me 35 tries to beat the Shadows of Yharnam
