By making this parody; the movie was a step in the right direction. There's no reason to fear a mans name after he's dead. That only gives him power from the afterlife.

I haven't seen the whole thing, but I LOVE the idea of this movie. It is really surreal and I like it. It feels like something that would be too hard to make in our day, because it has subtlety.
And I think we have a winner with Hitler-Chan! She is so cute!
You know that not all the movie is staged but some of the reactions are legit because they told people that they were shooting a documentary and then got the surprise Hitler. It’s basically like borat in some points.

Hitler and Nazis are so weaponized in our current era, that just talking about it without using it as an insult is refreshing. I think people who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it, and I think modern society has rejected history, as shown by defacing statues and judging everyone who came before as racists and therefore not worthy of praise or understanding.
People don't even understand why Hitler was bad. He's basically Voldemort, as in "He-who-must-not-be-named". (The reason Hitler is bad: He created a totalitarian state that could override people's rights as far as genocide. Remember that when people push for stronger government. The greatest historical atrocities are committed by States under official pretenses.)
@@shorewall first. I push for a stronger government. But to me a stronger government is a government with someone competent in charge, you know an unicorn these days. Second, I agree and I think that was the point of the movie. To show that we are so superficial and ignorant about our past that Hitler the same one that destroyed most of Europe and killed many people could rise again in plain sight. Also I adore the part in the movie inside the car right movement headquarters were he literally humiliated them calling them out on their whole being for believing in an ideology that they don’t even know. It was very telling.
@@alessandrolamera8857 Yeah. I haven't watched the whole movie, but I really like what I've seen. And the biggest reason is that. People don't try to understand the past. They force it to fit their modern agendas. Even memes like retaking Constantinople, which is funny, but impractical irl.

Fun fact about something from the nazi that she taught us that is mind blowing. You know that the stereotype of Jews being in control of the money is actually based on historical stuff?
Basically the church once was like: if you want to be like Jesus and go to paradise you have to live like him in poverty. So give us all extra money you have as a donation. Rich people were like if we do that we are not rich anymore and if we don’t we can be excommunicated. So they were like maybe someone can manage our money in our stead, someone who can’t be excommunicated become it’s not Christian. So they called the Jews and were like: we are gonna pay you a lot and you are gonna have all our money on your name but it’s still our money. So they invented the bank with Jews as leader in that industry as necessity and was like this for centuries until the church allowed for Christians to get rich. Then envy since Christians were living in poverty and suddenly some people got really rich in no time did the rest. And the stereotype perpetrated trough history and was used as a tool. It’s really cool if you think about it.
Had no idea this was an actual movie. The comparison is spot on though the sports jersey at end of Moons absolutely killed me.

My brother and I watched the movie years back and loved it, especially how the actors pulled off their roles so well.

One of the few movies I watched in a Theater here in Germany. We had a blast, it was epic.
But some people don´t really understand, what this movie is all about. Instead of reflecting on it, some start simping for this version of Hitler. Which, in turn, proves that the movie is right.

I like seeing videos by Moon, but there was a video I saw and later when going to rewatch it found that the video was gone. I don't know what the reason for why it removed. But I know Moon must have had a good reason to do so. Still I look forward to what Moon uploads next.

That is exactly why it has to be Hitler. To make you think. Not to make you accept Nazism, but to exercise your brain and realize that even Hitler was human, not a demon, and that humans are the ones who do the terrible things.
@@shorewall oh I know that very well. Monsters live in the world of fantasy, and do what the story tells them to do, humans on the other hand have choices to do heinous things. Hitler has always been the subject of what not to be.
When we normally think of the guy we picture him screaming into a mic in front of people, but there are photos of him out there acting like a normal person.
The fact that some one like Hitler was just some guy who ended up being on the list of vile people is more scary then any monster.
