The moment you hear Lohse's song after a the Doctor fight the game just solidified itself as my favourite game of all time. That story just finished beautifully.... if you choose that line of play!
She and Ifan are my absolute favourites: Their Characters are so believable and have such a tragic backstory. Lohse's Story is so good written, I balled my eyes out when I heard the song after defeating Adrammalik. While I always enjoyed the Red Prince or Beast, I care for Lohse and Ifan.
We have the thing as well, where she mentions that she still hears the demon a bit. Like an echo. Even with her eyes becoming cloudy and black on Lady Vengeance later, even giving you an eerie smirk (Although the narrator says that it might have been the main character imagining things). Just something I thought was interesting at the end.
One of my favourite youtubers. I was subed from a while ago because of Witcher videos but getting into Divinity 2 and now seeing you have a bunch of videos on the game is so awesome.
Forgive me if I am wrong but I am sure that you can kill the demon and save lohse even if you don't snuff the candles, I did it that way, you just have to kill the doctor in 3 turns before he can ultimately posses lohse
Yeah you can, it's just a lot harder since you have to kill the Doctor really quickly plus he's not weakened like he would be if you snuffed out the candles. I think the "best" resolution to Lohse's quest is to defeat the Doctor without snuffing out the candles
I like Lohse's character and story, but, would never play as her as my 'main' character in the party. I feel the same way about Red Prince. Great character and story, but I prefer as character in the party that I can experience as a part of the game. Prefer Ifan, Sebille, or Fane as my main, if playing Origin characters - but I could be alone.
Thanks as always 💕 question would it be worth it making tiny videos on like mysterious weird quests like.. Alice the crucified witch and her like weird quest and that lich that murdus traps I don't know I always seem to be intrigued by Alice even if there isn't much I'm just obsessed with her.. . Shinning lights
This demon guy reminds me of that one real life doctor who murdered like 300+ of his patients. He had a higher than average rate of patient mortality. It looked as if his patients died peacefully in their sleep. And they did, except not from old age or other natural causes; it was because of an overdose on sedatives or sleeping pills. It took a bit before he got caught, because they were 1) patients and 2) elderly. That is, there was a plausible reason other than murder for them dying. This started the practice of using statistical methods to check if any doctor has too high mortality rates, so that a potential "reverse" doctor could be caught earlier
Guess you might get a copy right strike, but too bad you couldn't play the ending song to her quest. One of the coolest gaming moments in my 40 years of gaming.
wait, If the godwoken were purged and turned into silent monks, does that mean that Lohse and the rest of the "canon" party will show up as monks in the next one?
Late comment but Malady restores them after taking their silent monk forms to the hall of echos. So they are back to normal just cant use source anymore
i really do think all the origin characters are brilliant works of creativity. but lohse? i can't even play the game without her in my party. the one playthrough i didn't have her in my party, i had her voice coming out of a custom lizard lol. only because i was trying honor mode and wanted to min max a little. lizards get a plus to persuasion and if your going for an optimized team, your main has to have per. anyway, what i'm try to say is she's a source of tension, comedy and intrigue. her presence genuinely makes the game better. fane and ifan are a close seconds but they can't hold a candle to lohse on her best day. plus, if you don't at least smile when she call's herself "madaam gribbles de peeb" then you have no soul and we could never be friends
Loshe is by far my favourite player character/companion in the game. the first time I played the game I was a bit freaked out when she suddenly switched to a man's voice in the presence of Saheila in the cave. but after a while, she has become my favourite of all the characters. if I was to rank them, I would say: Loshe > Ifan > Beast > Sebille >>> Fane >>>>>>>>> The Red Prince (he really is this bad). These last 2 are really just royal ba***ards with superiority complexes which is why they are my least favourites. Those traits aren't bad, if you want to play as a complete scumbag, you pick one of these 2 as your player character and have the other as your companion and have a lone wolf party :) But I prefer playing characters that are a bit more morally grey.

For sure. Plus her being prone to hosting spirits doesn't go away

@@SeventhheavenDK No you can talk her down but it's only with really specific dialogue choices

I spent like $169 CAD on eBay for this game is there any point playing it more than once if theres no new game plus?
Yes
I guess experiencing the other character stories counts, but if these do not appeal to you, then the answer would be no.
Its strange being a conduit.
Best character! Yes, Fane has the more complex story buuuuuuuuut she is best girl.
