Something you didn't mention about making a deal with him, you can actually make a deal, and then steal from him your own blood capsule. This way, when he shows up after the braccus's fight, he kills Lucian, but u can argue with him and fight him right there, killing him and have the standard ending.
When i first played Lohse as i went in the plane i snuffed few candles i thought it was nothing until i walked to 1000 candles zone and the music started playing, it was literally chill to my spine like holy hell for the first time i felt fear because of the music
Legitimately one of my favorite moments in a video game in recent memory. I was expecting a lot of things while in that demon world place after snuffing out a few candles, but seeing the sea of candles along with the music that fit perfectly was something else.
It terrified me and also saddened me because so many people were willing to give up their souls for something temporary and ended up being nothing more than a tool for destruction reaping nothing in the end but their own demise and at that moment I felt such sorrow...they were in reach but their was nothing I could do about it and till this day that place still haunts me
Killed this dude on tactician as aero-hydro-necro Lohse main without snuffing the candles. Hands down the toughest fight in the game by FAR (because of 3 turns limit), even considering imbalanced abilities like Apotheosis.
I managed to do it pretty easily on a 2-man party Lone Wolf run. I ran a magic-heavy Sebille and a melee-focused main. Before the fight I dropped a teleportation pyramid next to where Adramahlihk would be. I opened with Thunderstorm to stun all the minions, while outside of the fight I enraged my main. Then I teleported him to the teleport pyramid, and let loose with an Enrage-buffed Onslaught with a level 20 character. He melted like butter.
Wait, which version of the fight has a 3 turn-limit ? Is it the last fight of the game if you make a pact with him but then betray him while also stealing back the vial ?
I did a solo run with Lohse where she didn't snuff out the candles, on easy mode, and it was hard to kill the doctor within the allotted amount of turns (ranger). When snuffing out the candles on a different run, with other party members, Lohse would always get so sad upon seeing someone dead who had made a deal with the doctor, that's why I didn't want to snuff the candles.
If you ignore the doctor with lohse in your party until the end he shows up and either insta-perma kills her after the final fight and then you fight him, or he instantly possesses her and you fight him and lohse and if you lose you get the demon ending.
You can cheese the hell out of this fight…keep Lohse out and far away, use your other party members to lure his nurses from their positions toward the front door. If ur party dies, sneak with Lohse to revive them, then repeat.
Divinity 2 OS definitely my favorite crpg of all time, and I played much of the good old shit like Ultima, Baldurs Gate etc. Happy that you cover it so much!
Thank you for another great vid and nice the in with your last vid. I still remember my first time through snuffing out the first 3 candles and then seeing all of them and then just refusing to kill all thoughs people, to beat andromoleak I had to fill the source necklace to cast bloodstorm and then the cryostorm and have my party kill me before I could become possessed.
Someone correct me if I am wrong. But I kinda got the impression that killing the demon didn't free Lohse from him. Just weakened his soul's hold over her to the point he is like every other spirit that takes up residence inside her. That he is in fact still possessing her...but her strength is now more than enough to shove him into the corner whenever he gets lippy with her.
Well yeah, but if she were to ascend after fighting him, she would become divine instead of him... at that point he would be screwed (the divine being roughly 4x stronger than all of the 7 +chaos combined). He's just not a threat anymore at that point.
You can ROMANCE with Elenassa. Strong words for a few good words, kiss on the cheek in mouth and neklace for few tousands gold peaces. But I must be realistic, what I'm expecting from a game from 2002. It feels like eternity from today 😂
Great vid! Im curious about your opinion if a part of Adramahlik is still in Lohse, even when you chose to fight him. Since Lohse herself acts a bit weird in the end.
@@MortismalGaming Wow I didnt expect an answer that quickly. I agree with you on Lohse. I hope to see more of Lohse and also Malady in the upcoming games, since they both still have a demonic secret. Pls continue your good work and my best regards
