Great video!! Did you apply to do the NCA exams with just your LL.B. degree? Also do you know the likelihood that you would be asked to take a law school course for a subject as opposed to just writing the exam? because from what I've read that would be a whole different ballpark with regards to budgeting haha. If you have a video on this I'd be happy to watch. Thanks!!
Thanks! I applied to take the NCA exams with my LL.B and B.L. You are absolutely right about budgeting being different if you go to a law school as opposed to writing the NCA exams. I addressed this in one of my videos (LLM v NCA).
I actually don't remember his name as this was a long time ago. I would recommend going on the NCA Facebook group and asking people to recommend good tutors.
May I know why you were given only three subjects, I thought everyone has to go through 5 core subjects. I am asking because I have an American J.D. and even has the professional responsibility certification by the American Bar and was hoping that NCA wouldn't make me write that subject's exam!
Is it compulsory to give NCA exam for getting PR in canada or it can be post PR too? For better understanding i had evaluated my ECA from Iqas evaluated as first professional university degree in law in Canada
It is not compulsory to have your certificate of qualification before you apply for PR however, having your COQ at the time you are applying will give you more points.
Hi, do I still need to re-qualify as a lawyer in Canada after I’ve done my ECA (with IQAS) and the report gave my LLB, a masters degree equivalence in Canada?
@@MoyosoreSomide Hi Mo! Thanks for your prompt response. I'm planning on doing the LLMCL program for one year and do a specialization diploma for another 8 months (which would contain 2 semesters). Is it possible to combine both courses when applying for Post Graduate Work Permit?
Thank you Mo! Can’t wait for the NCA series 👍🏽
You are welcome!
@@MoyosoreSomide Hiiiii. Please what school did you go to. Like did you study in Nigeria.

Mo Thank you !
thank you so much! do you think is worth it?
Honestly, it depends on what your goal is but it was worth it for me.
Hi Mo, Is the NCA or LLM internationally recognised outside of Canada ?
I don't think the NCA is recognized outside of Canada.
Hi, do I still need to re-qualify as a lawyer in Canada after I’ve done my ECA (with IQAS) and the report gave my LLB, a masters degree equivalence in Canada?
If you want to practice law in Canada, you must re-qualify as a lawyer in Canada. You can not practice law in Canada with a Master's degree.
Which is the best law course ?
why did you take just 3 ? did having a masters degree help with the number of exams you had to take ?
I talk about this in my e-book "NCA STARTER PACK" and you can download the e-book here: gum.co/YANdW
Please where u in Nigeria when you did everything
I started the process in Nigeria.
You can do the same also. You can check out a book I wrote that can help you get started. gum.co/YANdW
Can I do the NCA exams online?
yes you can
