That spinning elbow is a winning move. Brutal when it connects. Truly a game ender in a fight.
Absolutely 🙌🏼 A well-timed/placed spinning elbow is brutal
And then spin back around quickly and use a different style (if he’s still standing lol)
Vicious when they land.
Good stands nice form properly executed clean Strikes this man obviously is practice and put it to good use.
Thanks so much 🙌🏼🙏🏼 Practice makes progress 👊🏼
Sean love how you keep it simple to actually teach . You’re the best. Thank sir.
Slashing elbow from a diagonal angle is chef’s kiss.
I like the spear especially in super close, you crouch ever so slightly and rise up like an uppercut spear right below the jaw, people don't expect it when they try to grab you. Most streetfights have "grappling" in it so this one is really effective and most people either bite their tongue or break teeth because they're not trained
Yea it’s a solid technique
Up elbow is the one I like but hard to practice in sparring
For sure, don’t wanna be the guy slashing people in sparring 🤣 If you have a good pad holder that will help
Personally feel, slash elbow, tomahawk and spinning elbow is all you need
Slash Elbow: super easy to land, easy to mix into combos
Tomahawk: Gives you a over head strike, once you show your opponent you know how to do it, it puts them in a tough 50 50 guessing game
Spin Elbow: As others said, great finishing move, a great tool to have in your arsenal to punish a opponent who misses or miss steps, or is just caught slacking
So I train muay thai for self-defence and when I do bag work and sometimes when I spar too I train from the "hey back-off" pose aka a long guard into a slashing elbow or a tomahawk into slashing elbow. I like it cause its quick, simple, a fight deterrent or fight ender. It's so second nature and fast after years of doing this I really wonder sometimes what it would be like on the receiving end xD.
The simplest is the most effective. Always.
Classic tomahawk is most fun to me
I just love that snap
I Love a tomahawk too 🙌🏼😎
Spin and slash I prefer
For me it's the slash elbow. I typically lunge forward with it. Setting up like a switch kick. I'm a regular stance and will switch hip then feign the kick. But instead I will use the load up kind of like a super man and launch forward with the slash elbow. Very effective from my experience. Swadi crap 🙏
Nice! Sounds brutal. A good entry is definitely key 🙌🏼🪓
All of them
Excellent work✌
Thank you 🙌🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
Superlek is the only person I've ever seen use the tomahawk elbow effectively. It seems super difficult to generate any power with it
Slash elbow and spining elbow my favorite
Love how Haggerty throws the tomahawk elbow, terrifying but beautiful at the same time.
Tomahawk is my fav.
Yes
Beautiful elbows
I'd said its not about Difficulties
but About The Chances of it'll be used perfectly in specific situation is Rare
Definitely, timing is everything 👊🏼👊🏼
Spinning elbow 🔥
Spin and slash...because I just learn those...
Spins elbows are good when you are close. You have to look for the right time to do elbows if you don’t the opponent might do a Teep kick on you
All of it!Oss
I find spinning elbow one of the easiest and the upper elbow the hardest just because it has such and awkward movement though by this point i am getting better at it
For sure, I personally get dizzy with spinning shit 🤣 But everyone is built different and has different preferences 👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Spear and slash elbow for the win
Number 1and your done
Did you watch One champion today? Amazing fights from Tawanchai and Micky currently Alazov is fighting too
Hell yeah that card was sick 🙌🏼🙌🏼👊🏼
I personally like the flying double tomahawk elbow. Super high risk, high reward.
I take it back.
The one that ends the fight
Question: Is it better to have the heavy bags touching the floor or suspended when hung up?
Slightly touching the floor is my favorite
Together are very effective
Definitely! It’s great once you can start stringing them together 🙌🏼👊🏼
The spin elbow just needs good foot work when you have it you’re head it can be one of the most unpredictable things in a street fight
Yea it’s a crazy technique for sure
I like the spear ones man, hope ur doing ok
Slash and spear. Can't beat simplicity
Basics win fights 🙌🏼👊🏼👊🏼
Tomahawk for sure
Gotta love the tomahawk 🙌🏼🙌🏼
@@seanfagan yes brotha, im an aspiring Muay Thai fighter myself, and I appreciate all of the content you put out!
Tip: difficulty DOES NOT equate peer. The slash elbow is as effective and more versatile than the yo elbow
Up*
Jab, pull down guard, right slash elbow 👌💤
Spear elbow after jab
The slash elbow coming down followed by the turn and back elbow with opposite hand
Love it 🙌🏼🙌🏼🪓🪓
The tattoo on his arm... It is "black sun"? 😊
Slash and up elbow
Both good ones 😎🪓
@@seanfagan yes !! Been working on mine
Im secretly the most lethal martial artist in the world
In my mind
Sonlethsl they tried to blind me with a dust i wear goggles and glasses when i train now
The Haggerty skipping tomahawk
A great entry 🙌🏼👊🏼🪓
👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👌👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
1 2 elbow
Solid combo 👊
I'm big jon Jones fan . so the spinning elbow is what I like the most .
And because of Haggerty I'm liking the downward elbow .
Which elbow is strike causes the most damage ?
Depends on what type of opening you find cause each of these moves can do major damage it just depends on how well you get your Opponents to Open up an drop his stands. I feel the up elbow is one of the hardest
@@adamgrim911 Yes . Very likely . Also spinning elbow carries insane power .
I actually once hit a 17 year old with a spinning elbow . I accidentally hit him with my triceps not elbow. We both were seated next to each other .
It was like my 5 percent power and that 2 I was seated . The kid too was seated .
His gums bled a little . I felt so bad that day . But i also realised how much powerful a spinning elbow wud be in an actual fight thrown accurately and at full power .
A spinning elbow landed accurately on mouth will defo break a few teeth . I can guarantee that !!!
P.S
I apologised him atleast a 100 times .
Love both of those! They can all be devastating, I think the biggest factor is your timing and capitalizing on the opening you were given. The momentum from the spinning elbow Can make it really brutal 🙌🏼😳🪓
@@seanfagan Agreed brother 🙌
Which elbow I throw depends on the situation, I guess.
Most definitely, depends on the scenario and openings. Good to have them all in your toolbox 😎🙏🏼👊🏼
That's guram kutateladze
Up elbow
A classic 🙌🏼🙌🏼
slash/spear i think
Gotta love it man
Chop(tomahawk) elbow can break through opponent's guard.
Yep 🙌🏼🙏🏼 Best way to rip through the guard
Spin
Spear elbow fosho
Gotta love it 🙌🏼
What about Yair Rodriguez Elbow 😂
Haha wild. Right at the buzzer
SLASH
Ooooweeeee 🙌🏼🪓
