We paid them 240,000 to rehab our condo. It took a year for them to trash our place, tear up the things we were installing and break the things we were reinstalling. Nothing is ever their fault once they get your money upfront. We were paying for projects to start and nothing has ever finished. The stuff they do finish is so ham-handed and nonfunctional. This is what happens when you pay a management company to do construction. They did not even manage well. I think if the companies they hired had direction from a competent individual that was regularly at the job site, then they probably could have done a decent expedient job. However, they would not be working with Chi Renovation. Run and never sign any 27 page contract that requires entire payment to start each individual project. Also, get a company that actually employs the workers and is not a clearinghouse for handymen. Check licenses, electrical, plumbing and construction.
