This is one of my favorite interiors ever. It's masculine and edgy. I love Fritz's maximalist moments, his end table in the bedroom and the jampacked shelving in the library in contrast with the minimal decor. You're hired!
I LOVE HOW DAVID IS SIMPLE AND CLEAN AND FRITZ IS TREASURES AND MINIATURES AND STONES AND MINI CHAIRS PLUS I NEED AN INTERVIEW OR SHOW AND TELL WITH THE TREASURES OF FRITZ'S COLLECTION !!!!!!
Not minimalist with the amount of Books and "collections", yet tucked away! Jetsons, what's not to love 😊 Lovely design layout and wall art. There truly are some lovely penthouses in NYC, and surrounding areas. Off the Hudson definitely has some fabulous views! ❤
Just amazing. This home is minimal while simultaneously being a HUGE statement! The passion and vulnerability it must have taken just to learn to blend their two styles. THE KITCHEN!! everything down to the dishes!!! On trend yet timeless....MA-JOR!
How fabulous and a big bonus was realizing I had Fritz’s book “Collected” and hadn’t looked at it since I bought it. A great reminder to look through the book again.
Love it all, but that library and the stunning Fragile Future chandelier are just too fabulous. Fritz’s collections are so cool and fun. Great home tour!
The apartment is in United Nations Plaza. Considered dowdy for decades, the building now enjoys a second-life as residence for lovers of mid-century modernism.
Wow, stunning!!! Bliss to see his creation book shelf and bedside table vortex yet infused into existence of matrix as whole in both worlds. More than 5 I am in trouble - awareness of creativity transferred into miniatures is incredible, no compromise, just fusing into reality in just perfect way… Amazing couple, inspiring me quantum jump.
This is just crazy - i wasn't sure when I started watching this because I am not a big fan of modern and minimalist style but this has just captured me! I love so many things about it and got some great ideas along the way.
Im obsessed with the dining room, especially the chandelier and the table. Idk about Fritz and his collections tho 😅 Edit: ok I love the cluttered nightstand so much
I wanna see more Fritz, maybe a house of his own after he's lived there for 20 years collecting , is there a studio of his we can see? His perfectly placed maximalist collections are amazing !
Please get a better camera with good quality that shows the colors and details. Such a beautiful place but the real quality of the apartment did not come through because of the cheap video quality.
Can the camera person for this channel shoot things straight on and balanced please? No offense 😊 A lot of the shots are lopsided, odd panning and hidden behind corner angle shots.
I pretty much watch home tours on mute. I'm there for the items, not the stories. Rude, possibly, but.... they mentioned it was just the 2 of them. I thought, surely they have a dog. And they do😊
I don't know...to me this is not liveable. Staring at a wall of tar while cooking? That furry rug on the wall is too much, the dandelion chandelier looks rusty now...too many glossy shiny and complex patterns, too many collected toy chairs and too many books on the tables.
Fritz, as a chronic, compulsive, collector myself, I admire the restraint you’ve exhibited by editing what you display in the city apartment. I hope you have more devoted space in the country house to display groupings of the wonderful things you find. Didn’t you work a spell for Martha Stewart Living as a buyer for food styling items, other props for photo shoots? Great sophisticated space guys. The kitchen choices are stellar.
I have seen the making of the dandelion chandelier. It was a few years ago and I always thought about how to keep this thing clean. They glued each and every fragile parachute seed to build the globes and bend the copper pipes into shape. Copper gets quite dark and murky due to oxidation and the dandelions collect dust like nothing good. Guess polishing and vacuuming is not an option. And the chandelier was hell of expensive (it is a piece of art)

Good heavens, the number of commissioned pieces and works of art is astounding! I'm thrilled when superb design gives art a home.
Wow! What an amazing apartment! I love the contrast between David's nightstand and Fritz's nightstand 😊
I like that they have a respect for what each likes and allows it to happen!
Opposites attract 💕 😅
Love it their conversations must be marvellous totally different perspectives.
I LOVE HOW DAVID IS SIMPLE AND CLEAN AND FRITZ IS TREASURES AND MINIATURES AND STONES AND MINI CHAIRS PLUS I NEED AN INTERVIEW OR SHOW AND TELL WITH THE TREASURES OF FRITZ'S COLLECTION !!!!!!
My goodness. Every single detail was exquisite. The best interior I've seen, The contrast of tastes both excellent. Everything

Lovely design layout and wall art. There truly are some lovely penthouses in NYC, and surrounding areas. Off the Hudson definitely has some fabulous views! ❤
I think the building is in mid-town east and the view is of the East River.
Beautiful! I have a feeling that home would look a lot different if it was just Fritz by himself.😂
haha, was going to say it! I feel like they might have a cottage upstate where it's "more Fritz" haha
Thankfully David is there to keep Fritz's tendency for hoarding in check. 😂
This home is a feast for the eyes and soul. It’s full of fantastic collections. What fun this was to watch. Thanks for the treat. Great home
Great tour! Love this eclectic and beautiful home!
Fritz is GOALS!!!!! The painting that you refer to as The Emperor has new clothes is astounding!!!!
I would never want to leave your home, absolutely magnificent ✨️ 🎉 😊 ❤

I'm pretty sure I can watch this video over and over again❤❤❤❤❤
How fabulous and a big bonus was realizing I had Fritz’s book “Collected” and hadn’t looked at it since I bought it. A great reminder to look through the book again.
I’m over five years old too, but I love his book shelf!😉 Unique, beautiful home!
Love it all, but that library and the stunning Fragile Future chandelier are just too fabulous. Fritz’s collections are so cool and fun. Great home tour!
I agree ! ❤ ! A wonderful couple, a wonderful home !
I love your style - you both compliment each other in the perfect way
This is an odd couple , but I have the feeling they complement and support each other positively.
“Odd” definitely …
So wonderfullll! I've watched this episode over and over. Thank you for sharing your genius.

wow this is amazing what they did with this apartment. so talented
Im obsessed with the dining room, especially the chandelier and the table. Idk about Fritz and his collections tho 😅

Jin-Jang is at its finest here, although the jang only has only two areas and some closets. I call that a great collaboration.
Beautiful.
Exquisite ❤
There are no words. Ok, one. Stunning
Beautiful home.🥰🥰
very beautiful mix of styles & textures....!
I love this.Im going to copy that for my next ladies lunch.Wonderful
YES
I wanna see more Fritz, maybe a house of his own after he's lived there for 20 years collecting , is there a studio of his we can see? His perfectly placed maximalist collections are amazing !
LOVE LOVE LOVE EVERYTHING !!!
p.s. where's my manners? Thank you for sharing your home!!! Love!
So pretty
I wonder if they lived at 1 Christopher Street? The terrace looked familiar. Great style ❤
MR decor I love what y’all do.
Wow
Elegant. And homey.
I still miss the terrace from the first apartment.
The man with beard look like russian writer Leo Tolstoy. He was famous by his novels, one of them The peace and war
So Fritz is a styling consultant? Right 😂 I'm the Queen of Persia 😂
He is and you're not. 🤣🤣🤣

Great look , but you said you guys are Minimalist's ?? 🤣🤣🤣 I wouldn’t say that guys 🤪
What city is the apartment in?
New York.
The audio is really very bad also what are you people doing???
Both video image quality and colors are very bad. Ruins the videos. Please do better.
It's so strange seeing Chinese door lions in the bathroom....
For my taste it lacks colour. The whole flat has the same déjà vu three colour palette: white, black and brown.
David sounds like a historian.
I pretty much watch home tours on mute. I'm there for the items, not the stories. Rude, possibly, but.... they mentioned it was just the 2 of them. I thought, surely they have a dog. And they do😊
they seem like polar opposites 😭
“Minimalists” with seven closets!😂😂😂😂
Почему лев толстой так неухоженн?
Such a strench gay Capil , life is very Interesting 🎉🎉🎉🎉
"minimal~"........ !
I feel sorry the older husband type dude, with the beard, living with a hyper minimalist who thinks he knows everything about interiors 🤦♂️
I don't know...to me this is not liveable. Staring at a wall of tar while cooking? That furry rug on the wall is too much, the dandelion chandelier looks rusty now...too many glossy shiny and complex patterns, too many collected toy chairs and too many books on the tables.
Obviously they designed it for themselves not for you 🙄
Your chairs that remind you of Jetsons are designed by French MSM designer B. Tabacoff. P.S. What Leo Tolstoy is working on?
You need more color on your walls. All the rest of the apartment is gorgeous... !!!
When you have all the exceptional pieces of art on the wall, you don't need colour.
Why does grandpa need all those clothes if he's just going to look like a homeless person?
Free speech is one thing....rude is another.
Ha ,ha,ha😂😅😊😢😮🎉❤❤❤❤

Black and white done right. It’s gorgeous!

Are those Elsa Peretti candlesticks I spy ? ❤
I have that Pyrex Flameware percolator too!
the brass table.
What a beautiful apartment! Love every aspect of it; and that library and all the Fritz’s collections of curiosities are fabulous.
Ummm...I could be incorrect, but I think Fritz Karch has been an integral part of Martha Stewart's business?
That dog is like a living sculpture I guess.
You can see that the concept was based on quality experience of the designer. ✨
Can anyone share the name of the self portrait artist? Benjamin?? It’s the all dark canvas in the dining area. Thank you in advance
Anyone know what a tulu is? David mentions them a few times. I cant find it anywhere but want to know.
Where can I find that black tile from the kitchen?
Love everything.
❤
STUNNING, thank you for opening your interior world!
Love the tour but please get a better microphone!
Just beautiful!
LOVELY home and style looks like fritz needs a good makeover and a good shower :)
That's rude. He is who he is.
Creepy
