Doctors and School and all that in the same day!

Today I had 2 helpful doctor appointments, talked to an amazing specialist on the phone, taught 4 classes, had 2 work meetings, and more... It was a long day. Telling my afternoon class about my diagnosis wasn't easy - I am scared of chemo and surgery still, and I don't want them to be afraid... I was as simple about it and as positive about it as I could be, reassuring them that I would be fine, and we would still have a good academic year.
