Brisbane Lions literally worked their arses off to get this premiership. They did it the hard way and the club should be very proud to get the flag. Enjoy it Brisbane and all your faithful fans.
Both South Melbourne and Sydney established in the Year of the DOG (1874/1982) The DOG is the mortal enemy of the DRAGON and this is a DRAGON year! Rampie's intuition was right, the "universal was against them" as the energy of the Dragon year was always gonna make it hard for them to win it, and also explains their overly wide range of form. 😉
Hope this doesn’t mean your content dries up brother. Do some comparison videos of old vs new legends like prime Judd vs Suns Ablett or 2001 Lions v 2007 Cats. Enjoy the offseason
The Swans need to change their home ground to a more AFL regulation size ground like Homebush/Telstra Stadium. They have the advantage of playing in a shoe box at home at the SCG which other teams struggle with but end up capitulating on bigger grounds like the G. Remember the Tigers beat them there earlier in the season.
wouldn't be against getting our neighbours back at stadium australia but it'd be a hard sell. i've heard of safety concerns at the very ends of the stadium with some exposed bolts and it's already an aging stadium that the gov is not very interested in thoroughly renovating. imagine an 80k clash with some more support for my giants out west though! that's a real battle of the bridge.
I think i knew that Sydney were done when.. who was it? I don't remember... tackled Heeney to the ground. Surely there was some tagging at play, because he was very quiet for most of the game. He's gonna become one hot headed bloke come 2025.
When Charlie tackled Warner on the wing that’s when I knew lions were not losing as well as mccluggage kick down the middle to Lester, lions just to good 🔥
Brisbane lions right now is what you call a proper rebuild example
The Time has come for Fitzroy and Brisbanes Premiership Tally to be combined.

🏆🏆🏆🏆
They aren’t the same club though. In fact, Fitzroy is still a club, they just don’t have an AFL license any more.
@@HorizonOfHopeAs a Lions fan I agree. Lions are mainly a continuation of the Brisbane Bears.
@@ShoeSnatchinWilly same here. 👍 I’d like to say we have 12 Flags instead of 4
@@HorizonOfHopesame song, same passant lion. BBFFC. Its the fitzroy lions mate.
If it counts for anything the club internally counts both premiership tallies as one.
Hearing this makes me feel just so happy for Brisbane! Well done Brisbane!
Darcy ‘held the’ Fort was awesome and his story will be told for years to come 😎
Up the lions
So glad lions won they have deserved one for the past 5 years
Hope north don’t make you wait too long for a flag

Plenty of things to talk about...
I really hate how people always add the ‘lions’ part to Brisbane. We don’t relentlessly say the Geelong Cats or the Richmond Tigers.
