Wow this was such a great watch. It's clear both coaches are class acts. Both were probably internally nervous as hell but tried to keep it fun for the players to relax their nerves. Real classy. Hope Fagan gets his fairy tale ending this Saturday. Sydney are great, but Fagan deserves it.
This is definitely one of the best GFs in history! Starts with the perfect weather, then Kiss delivers the best pre game entertainment ever! Then a match that had some of the best 4 or 5 goals you’ll ever see in one game! Bobby Hills mark, and was in the balance right down to the last 30 seconds! Both clubs can be very proud of their contribution to the greatest game in the world! And Fagan is such a humble and gracious man, I really hope for his sake the Lions win today!

I think most Collingwood fans me alike will be supporting the Lions this Saturday out of respect for the great battle last year. They do deserve to be there.

It's a very hated idea in Australia to have a night GF because of all the tradition that goes with it. But as a life long Aussie Rules fanatic now living in Denmark I get it, but it won't ever happen again hopefully, the AFL want it because of money, no fans want it.
Cultural divide on the issue. Traditionalists love afternoon final, which is fun and suits families. Broadcasters, advertisers and maybe the AFL would love it at night. There may be a compromise - start it a few hours later - “twilight” time
